Dr. Mihail M Moroianu, MD

This man is disturbing, actually it may be more disturbing that he has a license to practice medicine. My sister in law has faced many health issues lately and was finally referred to this man who told her she is obese (mind you she just had a child and had surgery on her thyroid) and questioned her about her exercise routine. Lately due to these health issues and excruciating pain she hasnt been able to exercise and his response was hes going to fix this and gave her a prescription for Gabapentin so she wouldnt have an "excuse" to not exercise. This woman was ripped before all this started, she was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, yet he hasnt even bothered to check her thyroid levels which I'm sure is causing these issues. This man should be ashamed in himself and his right to be a bedside physician should be revoked!!! For him to think this is okay to say to anyone, let alone your patient, just blows me away! What happened to the oath that is taken by a physician before practicing… medicine?!

I was very disappointed, Dr. Moroianu was too busy telling me how he didn't participate in Disability and Workers Comp. to effectively assist me with my pain. He had not read my information and didn't listen as well as I thought necessary for him to help me. I was told that he would read my file before I returned for my two month follow-up. I was given a prescription that I will not fill and an appointment for two months that I will not keep.

Gives me good advice about other conditions and my rhumatoid has tremendously improved. Would highly recommend him to my friends.

After my illness was found to be not rheumatological, Dr. Moroianu persisted in investigating possible diagnoses and was instrumental in determining it was actually an extremely rare autoimmune disorder, he contacted the foremost expert in the US for confirmation, and shared his findings with my neurologist and hospitalist at the hospital whete I was admitted. Thanks to Dr. Moroianu, I was successfully treated and fully recovered.

Horrible staff/nurses and nursing supervisor! The do or has NO bedside manner and you have to practically beg for medicine refills and are treated like you are a drug addict !

Dr. Moroianu has taken excellent care of me. I have complex autoimmune and liver disorders and Dr. M is always ahead of the game. He has no problem reaching out to my other specialists and he's always very kind. I find him highly intelligent and easy to communicate with. I would recommend to my friends and family without hesitation.

Horrible bedside manner, distracted, unfamiliar with latest medical advances, close-minded and unprofessional. I left his office feeling worse and with more questions and ZERO guidance.

I actually initially saw Dr. Moroianu because one of his colleagues who was recommended to me was not able to see me for weeks. I was extremely ill and it was important that I see someone immediately. The receptionist suggested I see Dr. Moroianu, as he had a cancellation for the next day. My tests indicated that I did not have a rheumatologic issue, but we scheduled a follow -up visit if my very strange symptoms did not improve. A few days later I was admitted to the hospital with very serious blood pressure, gland and dehydration problems. The hospitalist informed Dr. Moroianu that I'd been admitted. Though I was no longer really his patient, Dr. Moroianu began researching my weird symptoms and actually discovered that I probably suffered from a rare autoimmune disorder. He collaborated with a neurologist, cardiologist and the Mayo Clinic and they concluded I did in fact have the illness. Dr. Miroianu also twice visited me at the hospital to discuss the illness and… treatment, and check my progress. If not for Dr. Moroianu, I may not have been diagnosed and could not have fully recovered.

This doctor is good for nothing. Lacks basic communication skill. He prescribes prescription drug without any consideration. Please stay away from this doctor.
