Dr. Mika Narad Sinanan, MD

Sinanan Misdiagnosed my father who had a tumor. He told him to come back if his tumor grows too much and he can "debulk it" through surgery instead of referring him to an oncologist. Sinanan botched the surgery, caused my father two years of physical and mental suffering until his tumor grew against his diaphragm and suffocated him. My father spent a year in an acute care hospital because of Sinanan's botched surgery and diagnosis. Look him up as he also forgot surgical instruments in another patient who was a fellow MD at the UW that he operated on. There was a malpractice lawsuit that rendered local media attention on this. Really sad to see him still practicing medicine.

I went to this man in 2017 to correct an infection to my pelvis. with grafting. Mistake. I had the first surgery grafting a muscel into my pelvis, The next day I was wheeled into emergency surgery for a hematoma that almost took my life. I was bleed inside and needed the graft cleaned up. Went home after 5 days or so. While at home I was running a fever of 103.5 my husband took me to the closest emergency for the UW. Now I had a steptic infection and needed an addition surgery to clean out the leg used for a graft. I now had a incesion on my leg that was 3 inches deep and at least a foot long and 4 or 5 inches wide. Here I am in 2019 and the problem I originally went into Sinanan is much worse that it was when I originally went to him with. I am premantly disabled and in constant pain and infection drain in several areas that were not infected prior to his surgeries. I had to retire early because of constant stinky drainage and constant pain. And by the way I have to deal… with 2 or 3 open wounds that causes me constant pain. And with all the stuff going out about pain killers. I am screwed because unless this goes into cancer I have to live with pain that is a 7 to 10+ daily. I would not recommend him.

When I had a visit in his clinic at UWMC, I am frustrated because when I said to him doctor, after the surgery maybe I will feel better, and he answered me.... well our goal is to put the thing inside.... I was stuned and embarrassed with the other two people in th e room and I just said ya. He could have said it in a nice manner and use some emphatic words if he knows any. I hope he don't do the same with his other patients or maybe not so discriminating, thats what I feel. But I still respect him.

I needed surgery and I picked the best. Dr. Sinanan met my expectations.

I will always be grateful that Dr. Sinanan saved my life...twice! He is excellent an excellent surgeon, and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sinanan to anyone.

Dr. did my surgery and he saved my life. He is a wonderful human being. He cares for his patients very much. His knowledge is second to none.If God put a Saint on earth, its Dr. Sinanan.
