Back in 1990, I Injured my lower Back Racing Motocross. Dr. Purne performed a Lumbar Laminectomy on L5 S1, at that time I as was 30 years old, he advised I should quit racing, but I never did, I was back on my Motorcycle two weeks after surgery, & I have never had a problem with my lower back again. But now 30 years later I injured myself, Mountain Biking, Right Shoulder, left Ankle.., Gonna Go See Dr. Purne again..!! Gene Borgia

Dr Purne is the best dr. I have ever been to in my life !!! He is so compassionate and isn't stingy on ordering any test you may need. He actually cares about your well being !!!

After my visit to Dr. Purne I have not had my usual hip pain in 3 years. I can finally play basketball with my friends because of wonderful Dr.Purne. Go to him, he is very knowledgeable and likes to joke around.

Dr. Purne seemed to know his stuff, but getting past the confusion in his office is a challenge. When I called to schedule a review of my MRI, the office wanted me to wait "until a week from next Friday" (ten days), just in case the MRI lab took a week longer than they said they would to deliver their report. Given that my condition was a painful one, I insisted upon speaking to a supervisor and got an earlier appointment. Then, on the day of the appointment, I called to confirm, and they told me I would have to reschedule, and that the earlist they could see me was that same Friday.

This doctor was to remove a small bump on my knuckle to test it. Without asking me (I was awake during the procedure) or my husband, he cut the tendon, shortened it and reattached it. He told me there would be very little pain and a couple of hand therapy sessions. The pain was incredible for weeks. Once the pain from the surgery subsided it was replaced by an ache that has never gone away. After almost a year of weekly physical therapy, including wearing an array of bizarre-looking contraptions to try to straighten my finger, it is now disfigured, lumpy and won't bend normally. On follow up visits to Dr Purne, he told me my finger looked ugly.
