Dr. Mike Wansik Choe

I went to this Dentist expecting to be seen by Dr. Choe. I have been going there for a few years now. I was always pleased with the service of Dr.Choe. I saw a different Dentist in the office. I was told that I could not see Dr. Choe and I would have to see this Dentist, one I had seen before and was unsatisfied with his service. They informed me that I had two root canals performed by them which I was only aware of one and they said they had sent a consent for a crown to my insurance which I had not requested or asked them to do. The Dentist said he would not fill my teeth because he wanted me to have a crown put on it and I was planning to do this but they said it would take four weeks to get approval. They kept telling me that they were going to send a request for the approval to my insurance company. I told them not to because I would check with another Dentist. I just think it is wrong not to inform your patient about the procedures you are doing and the request you are sending… to their insurance company.

I was with Dr. Choe. On three different occasions he didn't let me know what he was doing exactly and I was surprised when I looked in the mirror at my teeth. On one occasion he left one of my front teeth longer than the other. On another occasion he removed a tooth but did not make me aware that the tooth next to the one he removed was badly discolored, the tooth next to it was packed with gauze. I was very disappointed in the service I received from him. I feel as if I spent thousands of dollars there and my teeth are worse now than they were before I went to him.
