East Lake Pediatrics was great until my second visit. The first doctor told me they would work with me on my desire to use an alternate vaccination schedule, but if you get Dr. Jordan, he will try to strong arm you out of your choices.

Awesome pediatrician.

I have an 11year old at this practice and I am expecting a child in January.Because I am delivering at a birthing center, I was told that they will not except my new baby. When I asked why the doctor told me that she was "new here" and did not have the answer. I called another location and asked what is the reason that my baby will not be excepted just because he was born at a birthing center and Dr. Jordan's response was "that has been my policy since I've opened my doors" Well great!! That explains alot. I explained that in order to give birth there I have to be full term, healthy and the baby has to be healthy. I guess the real reason is that there is no money with a healthy baby. I was planning on changing Dr.'s after Dr. Jordan gave my son a physical exam of his genitals with no gloves on. Find a smaller, more caring practice with a more experienced doctor.

They let me know a baby can eat the medicine is expired. Also if I miss an appointment, I need to wait for more than a month. Plus, if I have a question about the baby's health, just wait until the baby grow up , I will know sooner or later. Really??? Can I give them zero point?

I will NEVER go back to this practice. Very Rude, and because our insurance changed (they accepted it) he would not see us!! I wouldn't even rate them a star!

I tried for months to get my daughter an appointment here. I finally got through and tried to make an appointment for my special needs daughter and was told that I had to change her primary care for her insurance first. I called and changed it and was told I had to wait a day or two for it to show up in the system before I could make the appointment. I called three days later only to be told their panel for that insurance was closed and they couldn't take my daughter. This place is an absolute joke and I hope nobody wastes their time here!

Everyone here is very helpful and caring. Goes over and beyond to help. WE LOVE EASTLAKE!!!

Dr. Jordan, Dr. Amy, and Jennifer have been my children's pediatrician for the last three years. My daughter had many health problems and we visited them regularly. They are always professional, knowledgeable, gentle, patient, and caring. Sadie is very shy but they go slowly and let her warm up. They have done in-office tests and told me specifically what strain of an illness she has. I would never change pediatricians! They are fantastic!!

My 10 month old son was seen for croup and was diagnosed with an ear infection. He was given a 10 day amoxocillin prescription - it did nothing for the ear. He was then given another antibiotic - it did nothing for the ear. When they tried to give him a third, stronger antibiotic or suggested a sereis of 3 shots I decided to get a second opinion. I was not planning on changing pediatricians I just wanted a second voice to see if it was neccesary to continue down this road. When I tried to make the follow up appointment/9 month well visit, I was refused because "our doctors don't allow patients to return after getting a second opinion". I have let them know that I will tell people about this. And here it is.. If you take your child to East Lake Pediatrics you are no longer allowed to see any other doctors or question their treatment or they will refuse to see your child. I have expressed to them in the past that I do not like to over medicate my children. They were adamant that my… son needed these antibiotics. The result of the second opinion was that it is not always neccessary to give antibiotics for an ear infection if the child is not in pain. His ear infection cleared up in time and I only added a multi-vitamin to his daily routine. I would never trust a Practice who believes they are infallible. Medicine is an evolving science and is also now leaning more towards not over medicating children. If this is your belief, I would suggest finding somewhere else to take your children.

After struggling with another doctor's office who obviously became more focused on how many patients he could cram into his office at once for monetary value, I looked long and hard for a new doctor for my six children. I found the office! Dr. Jordan's East Lake Pediatrics is AWESOME! I'm so relieved to find a caring office full of concerned staff. The wait time was limited and the time that our doctor spent with us was greatly appreciated. I felt I had the time to go over all of my children's concerns. I look forward to a longlasting relationship with East Lake Pediatrics!
