Dr. Mike Douglas Mysinger, DDS

Dr. Mike Mysinger, known to his patients as Dr. Mike, was born and raised in Knoxville, TN.  After graduating from the University of TN, Knoxville in 1988 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, he attended dental school at the University of TN in Memphis.  After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1992, Dr. Mike spent two additional years at UT Memphis in a pediatric dentistry post-doctoral program.  During his residency, he underwent extensive training at LeBonheur Childrens Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Arkanses Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. After completing his training, Dr. Mike moved back home to Knoxville where he has been in practice since 1994. Dr. Mike is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Second District Dental Society, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and the Tennessee …Dental Association (TDA). He is on staff at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital (ETCH) and Children’s West Surgery Center (CWSC).
In his spare time, Dr. Mike loves spending time with his wife Stacey, who is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and their daughter Ella. He also enjoys tennis, water sports, and traveling with his family.  He truly loves his profession and feels fortunate to be able to make a difference in the lives of children. The goal of his office is to provide the highest quality of dental care in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
