My best friend was treated in the hospital by this bozo who seemed great at the time. I was extremely grateful to him. But the minute she left the hospital his office called and said they could not see her because of her insurance. She then ended up in another hospital with pneumonia and I guess that dr made a call because his office made an appointment with her. When she went he told her her infected open incision was perfectly fine. She was told not to come back until she had a ct done. Which her insurance wouldn’t pay for and he knew it. 3 er visits later and she’s been told to go to a certain er and present his card after him and 2 of his trainees stuck their fingers in her open incision. Then he will come down there and debrie her wound. In other words follow up care was a joke. He’s clearly not in this field for the patients just their wallets. Make sure you have the very best insurance if you get treated by him.

My husband was hospitalized after accident with many broken ribs..We were told dr t would do surgery on a wed..thursday at the lastest. On thursday he took a new patient that was more important..we were told. We were rescheduled for friday.. Cancelled out again ..excuss was illness. That left my husband setting in the hospital till monday waiting on the surgery. Monday he was second on the surgery schedule...untin we got down to pre op. We were sent back to our room because mr t decided to take yet another new patient that was more important. Medical center mckinney hospital allowed this!! When i complained to the staff..i was told higher ups would come talk to me & help. No one managed to do that.

I feel it was a blessing to have ended up in Dr. Tauriainen's hands for resection of a very rare tumor on my chest wall. I expected a rough recovery, but was back up on my feet right away. I'd recommend him to anyone with a cardiothoracic issue.

Dr. Tauriainen was able to remove my chest wall tumor just a week after my first consulting with him and was able to make surgery and recovery leaps and bounds better than I had prepared for based on my research. I feel like he made a major difference in my health outlook and I'm quite lucky to have found such an amazing surgeon.

I had to wait 2 hrs to see Dr. Tauriainen. He was rude, dismissive, and unkind. I would not recommend anyone see this physician.

Dr. T performed my bypass surgery over 2 years ago and did an outstanding job. He saved my life. Surgery was on Wednesday and I was going home on Sunday. He really cares for his patients !

Dr. T is my hero. He truly is a "Rock Star" among surgeons/doctors. He fit me In quickly and performed bypass surgery quickly. Advanced techniques performed in surgery. Excellent bedside manner and a caring attitude. A true professional who really takes pride in his work. I owe my life to him! I and my family can not thank him enough!!!
