Dr. Milagros Gloria Huerta, MD

Dr Huerta is simply the best and most knowledgeable pediatric endocrinologist in South Florida. She has helped both my children since they they were very small. Other physicians would tell me there labs were normal and refuse to look any further but Dr. Huerta digs deeper and treats the child/symptoms and not just what is considered within the normal lab range results. She listens to the parents and values their input. If you want the very best endocrinologist, without all the fluff, she is it. She is absolutely worth any extended wait times. The reason that you may have to wait after arriving, is because her services are in such demand and she see every single patient either in person and Zoom for a full visit herself.

It was really easy to schedule an appointment. There was an availability rthe next day since someone has canceled. Dr. Huerta is very knowledgeable, gave us many recommendations and was very helpful.

Have been calling for blood work results for 3 months, office tell me doctor will call by end of day every time and no return call. My daughter is away at college and they insisted she has to come in so they can charge for an appointment. Here now and have been waiting for over an hour and there are no other patients here. Changing endocrinologists immediately

Worse medical facility with worse patient care. Kensia (front desk) has a nasty attitude and talking back patients and arguing with patients is a common practice. I waited almost 2 hours to see doctor and was scheduled for a follow up. The day before mt appointment Kensia told me I had a wrong time and didn't understand who wrote the wrong time. I rescheduled again waited over 1 hour to have Kensia approach my daughter with an attitude. I asked her to check her voice and she yelled at me in the hallway in front of the doctor and patients telling me to check my self and not to roll my eyes at her. Dr. Huerta simply saud "Kensia, please stop yelling at the patients". I questioned the doctor and asked her why she would put up with thus behavior and she replied that this is a common behavior from her but today is has been worse but she can not find someone else. To simply be ok with disrespect and abuse to your patients because you have not found someone else is a disgrace to… medical physicians and practices that work so hard. If the physician promotes this lind of behavior and disrespect, what poor quality of care can you expect. Its sad that Dr. Huerta considers this a standard of care.

Terrible experience the doctor seems very nice when you see her, but once you pay and need her for consulting and feedback she is not interested in the patient, I’ve been trying to get In touch with her for 2 months to get a follow up medication and instructions and she cares nothing of her patients , very sad that someone so inhuman deals with the peoples health. Not recommended at all

Wonderful doctor. She spent a lot of time speaking to my son. She answered all my questions.

AWFUL, been chasing my son's blood work and X-ray results for 3 months. She ignores all messages. I went to her practice today to demand the results and I was given them with an apologetic receptionist telling me Huerta hasn't even looked at them yet to analyze. no idea how this woman still practices

My son felt very uncomfortable every time we were to the dr ... they treat you as if you are a number not a person !

Huerta has got to be the worst doctor I have visited in my entire life. She is beyond unprofessional, at most times it doesn’t even sound like she knows what she’s talking about. She will have you waiting in the room for HOURS before seeing you and spending 5 minutes with you. She started me on birth control to control my hormone levels a year ago. I started college in California and saw her about 4 times a year. My mother called to have my birth control refilled but she said she had to see me again even though she saw me a month ago. I’m already in California so I can’t go so they told my mom SHE had to go even though she isn’t a patient. What do they gain for making my mom go and waste her time? All she cares about is MONEY. Does not care about her patients. She rudely told my mom to get me an endo in California! Totally unacceptable!! DO NOT TAKE YOU CHILDREN HERE! She just wants your money and will prescribe something to them just so that you start a treatment and keep going to her… to pay. I’m shocked at her poor attitude lack of professionalism. Should have her license revoked.

The worst Doctor I ever meet, she is negligent, and not profesional, she left my daughter with out medicine more than one month just because she never field the documents to the provider. Never bring your kids to her, she is not a good doctor I regret to chose as my dauther endocrinology
