Dr. Milah Blinka Frownfelter, MD

After feeling poorly and having my symptoms dismissed by other doctors in the past, Dr. Frownfelter and her team treated me with compassion, thoughtfulness and and diligence. When I see Dr. Frownfelter, I feel like she truly cares for me as a person vs a quota. She took her time to get to know me, my family and the bigger context of my life. When pursuing my symptoms, she developed an in-depth plan to determine the potential causes of my ailment, took me seriously and worked tirelessly to coordinate my care. She's incredibly smart and quite the detective. When the root cause was finally uncovered and it was determined that surgery might be my best option, she counseled me not only about the physical pros and cons, but the broader implications as well, including looking after my mental health. After surgery she visited me twice at the hospital, spending time with my family and making sure I was well taken care of. I can't fully express my gratitude for Dr. Frownfelter. She's… the best doctor I've ever had and without her, I don't know that I'd be on the path to regaining my health.

Thorough, knowledge beyond most Doctors. Friendly and really cares about each patient. Best Doctor I have ever been too. I have numerous chronic conditions, that she helps me manage everyday.

Best internist you could ask for. Only prob, practice no longer accepts insurance. If you want the best doc you can possibly get and you can do private pay go to Dr Frownfelter.

Dr. Frownfelter is one of only two special docs i have had throughout my 58 year long. life. She is very professional while she develops a close and comfortable Dr./patient relationship. Sincere and excellent care.

Dr Frownfelter is the very best doctor anyone could ever hope to have. My husband and I have been with her pretty much since she started at the PolyClinic and she has become a member of our family. There are no words to describe the total dedication and care she shows us. You could not ever be in better hands then hers.

I feel really fortunate to have Dr. frownfelter as my primary care doctor. She is really knowledgeable and smart. I am constantly surprised at how quick she is in coming up with all the possible sicknesses you may have and eliminating them with relevant questions. At the same time, she is kind and caring. Polyclinic is really lucky to have here because the specialists there are kind of blah but I stick with the clinic because she is exceptional.

Dr. Frownfelter is a wonderful Dr and we need more just like her. I have chronic pain and in the past have been treated as if I am seeking pills, which never has been the case. All I wanted was a Doctor who would listen and help me find a course of treatment that would work. This doctor has done that, and she has given me my life back, if you want someone who is willing to go to bat for you then this is the Doctor you want, in fact most of the doctors at the Poly-Clinic are of the same nature.
