Dr. Milena Newhook, DO

She does not care about her patients and she is insensitive with those who are in a weaker place. No empathy whatsoever, just focus on revenue. Rude front desk makes the experience even worse and the process of refilling a prescription is an ordeal. Communication with office and doctor is also extremely painful and requires constant follow up. Would rate with zero if the system were to allow for it.

I have been to 3 diffrent phyciatrists in my life and all of my experiences with them were wonderful. Until I went to Milena Newhook. I went there for anxiety and depression, Ms Newhook prescribed me blood pressure medication for anxiety, as well as an antihistamine for anxiety. I knew that was ridiculous but filled it to be able to say OF COARSE AN ANTIHISTAMINE DID NOT HELP my ANXIETY. I then, called and spoke with a REAL doctor who laughed at her prescribing antihistamine. I dont think it is funny. I paid $325 to see her and she wanted to schedule my next appointment which would only be 100$..umm no thanks stupid woman. Also she told me one of the anxiety medications I wad prescribed before was and she said I must have been an alcoholic because that medication is knly given in the hospital for weaning people off alcohol. Here is the facts she is ignorant has no idea what she is doing and I suggest finding a doctor with a little knowledge and a little knowledge would be 10 times what… she has. A DO which is what she is, is not a MD they had lower geadenpoint average than doctors. Do not go to her even if it is for something completely diffrent than what I was there for , she does not know what she is doing she just wants money and I wont schedule another appointment unless I have an extra 100$ and if I do I would love to pay that to be able to tell her what I think of her.

Dr Newhook is a serviceable doctor. Communication is limited. Flexibility on scheduling and prescriptions is poor. I have to find a new doctor as Dr. Newhook couldn't see me before my Rx run out. Going off Rx's is not something to take lightly as the withdrawal side effects can be severe. It is a risk to my health I am not willing to make.
