Dr. Mimi I Noemi Peak, MD

The VA sent me to Mimi Peak for a C&P exam. She did not complete the exam based on the standard DBQ form. I was not tested for active range of motion and received a low rating from the VA based on her fraud. Do not allow her to affect your rating.

I had my second QTC appointment with her in two years and she was as bad as I remembered. She didn't look at my records. Said she could not "legally". Said only the doctor from the original claim could. She was the original doctor and wouldn't look at them then because that was not whiten the scope of her responsibilities. She made fill out her questionnaire a second time in office (to see if my answers changed) trying to catch me in a lie. She is there to save the government from people like me. Hard working retired vets in pain.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor. She performed services for QTC (VA contractor). I drove there from Virginia Beach, and she spent 10 minutes examining me. I was denied a claim based on her input, which was totally one sided. She did not listen to me and she was very curt. I would describe er as a puppet for the VA. It appears her job is to prove that the patient does not have the illness they present.

I had to do my C&P exam with Dr.Peaks. It was completed within approximately 10-15 minutes. This isn't a good thing considering there were a few DBQ to complete. She didn't ask important questions that would be the very important parts of the DBQ. The stuff that wouldn't be found in medical records. I read reviews before I went and thought "She can't be that bad." but in regards to doing C&Ps, she is. I truly feel she should not be doing them and will be writing my congressman. Getting disability done already takes a long time and having to deal with doctors who could not care less can lead to unnecessary problems. Im not as upsrt because I had the same C&Ps done before in which the doctor took her allowed time of nearly an hour to discuss things with me. If all they needed was the medically record, there would be no reason for us to shoe up for the C&Ps. Sn: The C&Ps were done again because of an error within the VA, not an issue with the first doctor.

Does no prepare for exam...does not listen to vets...terrible bedside manner...fails to identify documented data within medical records...condescending personality...AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

This Dr should resign. She doesn't listen to her patients and have no bedside manners. My exam was less than 10 minutes and most of that time spent was her being argumentative. She didnt understand what my medications were used for. Needless to say, I had an upsetting experience during my visit to this doctor, Thanks VA. She is terrible!

The staff was very friendly, Dr. Peaks is very professional. It was my first time ever getting a treatment and she made feel comfortable. Overall I enjoyed my experience.
