Dr. Min Ku, MD

I went in to get allergy tested back in late 2019, early 2020. I told her about past diagnosed food allergies and their reactions. She completely dismissed it because out of all my symptoms(Tingling on my lips and tongue due to exposure of undercooked and/or raw eggs, itchy throat, violent vomiting, violent Diahrrea, swollen eyes etc) I "lacked hives". I am able to eat hard boiled eggs,cake, well done scrambled eggs as long as they're cooked well enough to destroy the proteins that my childhood allergist told my mother I was allergic to. Not only did she scoff at that statement she also said there was no such thing and that it was impossible. She again, wrote this off as an intolerance. She kept trying to push the flu shot on me and I told her absolutely not. I just said I had a confirmed allergy. Again, she denied it was an allergy. I asked her to test me for the allergy to eggs and if it was negative, I would take the flu shot. She said she wouldnt because it was NOT an allergy. I… knew right then and there I was done with her. A few weeks later, I had a virtual appointment with another allergist and explained my history with eggs and what had happened with Dr. Ku. Without hesitation she sent me paperwork to go get a blood test done. **DRUM ROLL** F001-IgE Egg White - 0.37 - Abnormal F075-IgE Egg (Yolk) - 1.41 - Abnormal I will end this experience by saying that Dr. Ku is absolutely DANGEROUS. If a doctor says to you "I will not test you for that" WALK AWAY! Any good and CARING physician would always cross their T's and dot their I's before ever telling a pateint that they are 100% sure of something. If she's done this to you, PLEASE get a second opinion!

I have an unpleasant experience. I brought my daughter to her. She didn’t want to listen to your previous medical history. She just wants to quickly jump to your current illness condition. So not responsible for patient.

I visited lots of doctors. every doctor listened my concerns and detailed information I talked very carefully except for her. She doesn’t want to listen to what you said and very very very impatient. I highly don’t recommend her. You just waste your money if you come to her.

I went to Dr. Ku and she provided a misdiagnosis and prescribed various medications which were extremely expensive. None helped my symptoms. Ended up that I had a life-threatening disease. Come to find out that the symptoms I had are textbook indicators of this disease. If I had not sought other opinions from different Dr.'s I could have died or needed months of hospitalization. Further, I found her to be extremely arrogant and lacks a positive bedside manner.

I really want to like her as a doctor, she is pleasant but once the allergy tests came back negative she dismissed my allergic reactions. Insinuating they are either in my head or made up. It was frustrating so I went to a different allergy doctor and my allergies were proven to be correct.

I was so shocked by the negative review, I had to write my own! That person must have made that up or got their doctors confused. I've taken my young son to see Dr. Ku a few times and she was so sweet and nice. She was very personable and my son was very comfortable having a conversation with her. Even the staff was great with him and explaining what they were doing as they did allergy testing. When it came down to his diagnosis she was very professional and explained everything to me in detail and then even reviewed the information again with me before leaving. I could not have picked a better doctor! She's wonderful.

Don't know what else to call it. Most obnoxious dr I ever met. Switch immediately to other dr there - they are the ones rated top doc by Philadelphia mag, not her.
