Dr. Mina Al Najafi

I was under Dr. Najafi's care while at Inova Alexandria Hospital and extremely disappointed in the medical care that I received. I found Dr. Najafi to be highly unprofessional, ignored me as her patient as well as my symptoms and the repeated medical treatment concerns I shared with her. Dr. Najafi refused to do the appropriate labs needed to figure out why I was have so many symptoms while under her care in the hospital. On the date of discharge, I felt worst than my entire time at the hospital and Dr. Najafi had the audacity to state that I most likely got the flu while in the hospital. I had to argue and beg to get the labs needed to actually figure out what was happening to me. She stated she would do a few of the labs and I would need to review with my PCP and she was still discharging me. Once the lab results were received after discharged, it showed a number of concerns which also landed me in the ER a few times after. Due to Dr. Najafi negligence, I am still dealing with the… repercussions of her failure to properly treat my health concerns while in the hospital. She is not well trained, is extremely judgemental, claim my insurance wouldn't cover certain labs and a number of other inappropriate actions that an attending physician should never do. I would never recommend Dr. Najafi and extremely concerned of the level of inappropriate care that Inova Alexandria Hospital allows.
