Dr. Mindy Noel Homer, DDS

I took my child here for their first pediatric check up ever and had horrible experience. The visit was rushed. Very little was explained to us. The dentist never physically directly inspected my child’s teeth. The hygienist took xrays and yet the dentist never looked in my child’s mouth herself. I wasn’t explained the absolute necessity for xrays and also how could the dentist justify xrays without directly inspecting my child’s mouth at all. It felt like they just wanted xrays for bigger payment, yet no care was really giving to my child as patient or the parents’ needs. I find the practice to be overly concerned with getting money Rather than providing quality patient care. I found this practice highly unprofessional and rude.

Dr Mindy was beyond caring, funny, and professional. She took good care of my daughter, whose mouth had several deep cavities at the young age of 7. Dr. Mindy also took "care" of me, the anxious, nervous, and guilt ridden mother.

My daughter loves Dr. Mindy. I have been taking her since she was 18 months old and she is now 2 and a half. Before we even left the office my daughter wanted to brush her teeth and at night she said that she wanted to brush like Dr. Mindy did. Dr. Mindy is so gentle with children. She also takes the time to speak to the parents.

If I could I would I give this practice no stars! She appears nice but all she is is a cash cow highway robber. She doesn't take insurance and changes you for things you do not need. She made an error on one of my friends kids then charged my friend to fix it. She has specific morning only hours for young kids and will not accommodate working families......her staff is rude and told me to take off of work to bring my children to the dentist "because after all it is only twice a year" and they wouldn't let me come to an appt at 3 because it was office policy.....they are rude go to kid smile!
