Dr. Mindy Kathryn Lane, DO

I have never been treated with such disrespect from a professional ever. Mindy Lane is the most arrogant uncaring doc I have ever encountered. She clearly enjoys making people feel miserable. After 10 months I quit her practice and found a doc who helped me with my weight loss sugery. In four months I'm down 45 pounds. Best decision I ever made.

I had the worst experience I've ever had with any medical professional with this woman. Her office took my money, put me through ten months of preparation for surgery (approved by insurance) just for them to cancel me for "noncompliance" and then not follow up with how I didn't comply. I am looking into options to sue. Avoid the crooks at Sparrow Bariatric and save your money, especially this crooked thief!

Dr Lane is an excellent doctor and will leep you on track

Dr. Lane can come across as a bit brusque, but performed a flawless sleeve gastrectomy on me. Her practice is greatly buoyed by her P.A., Amanda, who is also very knowledgeable and and does have a terrific bedside manner.

She means business and driven to change bad lifestyle but also so arrogant she does not listen to her patient when there is an obvious post op infection. Was given a severe staff infection during surgery and she wouldn't take the time to see if there was an infection and treat it until I was very ill and an ED Dr said I had to be admitted. I get there is a risk of infection with surgery but had she taken care of the infection immediately it could have saved me from several days of pain and nausea, several trips to the ED, and a second hospital admission.

I've been through 4 months of the 6 month program in preparation for bariatric surgery. I met Dr. Lane today and I'm seriously considering dropping the program now, or else transferring to a different hospital entirely, specifically because of her. I was fighting back tears while she was very rudely talking to me in a condescending way. She is on a power trip and like other reviews have stated, it's her way or no way at all. She made presumptions about me and wouldn't listen to me about the truth, which was extremely frustrating! Her arrogant attitude turned me off entirely and I do not want her operating on me! Shouldnâ??t doctors have some kind of positive relationship with their patients? She needs to work on her people skills, big time. She ruined the whole experience for me and I don't know what to do about it yet.

I was not happy with this Dr. It was all her way or no way, she was not willing to work with me at all. I had great success before coming to her and unfortunately my previous Dr. moved out of town. Now it's one issue after another. It's amazing what happens when your Dr. listens and works out a plan with you vs just telling you what and how to do thing. My health has never gone by the book and this style just doesn't work for me.
