Dr. Mindy Marie Pomtree, MD

Was incredibly rude and treated us parents of 5 like we were idiots. Now we request that she not be the doctor we see.

We took my daughter in for a fever that she’d had for a couple days and cold like symptoms. The nurse that checked us in apparently miscommunicated to Dr Pomtree the duration of the fever, making the doctor think it had been weeks. She came into the room so rude, accusing us of basically being negligent parents and immediately telling us that my daughter would need blood drawn. This is all before she verified the information she was given. She was being very accusatory, even quizzing us on what is considered a high fever. She changed her tune once we corrected her but the damage is done. First and LAST time she will ever be involved in the care of my child.

For a pediatrician her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. She was very rude and misdiagnosed my son. She was condescending and told us it was seasonal allergies and she treated him for the same thing last year. And if we were giving him his Zyrtec properly (which we were) it wouldn’t have been and issue. He only got worse so we took him to another doctor. Turns out my son had pneumonia.

Very dissatisfied. I had two of my children on two separate occasions misdiagnosed. I will not let her treat any of my kids from now on.
