Dr. Mindy E Prager, MD

Posting a review and rating a doctor that, for the last 8 years, has been my life-line, my rock, and my biggest advocate, during some of my darkest moments, is nearly an impossible task. There simply aren? enough qualitative or quantitative values that justly praise Dr. Prager, not only as an exceptional talented professional psychiatrist, but also as a compassionate human being. With her factual “no BS”, yet sympathetic approach, Dr. Prager has a true understanding of the inter-connection, complexity, and fundamental balance between the scientific and emotional facets of the human mind; which is vital to achieving success in improving mental health. Her role as a therapist, is not only to listen, diagnose and prescribe. She aims to provide patients with the tools to confront, understand and manage their mental fragilities in the context of their own lives, always with her support to intervene at anytime—and I’m talking about Sunday calls, hospitalizations, international sessions.

Dr. Prager is a Psychiatrist who actually listens, provides relevant and useful feedback and has a heart.

This doctor has gone out of her way after hours to see to it that my medications were not interrupted. She is caring , empathetic , and provides insightful and incisive feedback instead of absentmindedly jotting notes.
