Dr. Minerva Santos, MD

Dr. Santos has a wonderful bedside manner. She is very honest and direct. She loves her work and it shows.

Worst doctor. She simply doesn’t care. Doesn’t like her job. Won’t treat you.

I met Dr Santos on 2005 and ahe remain my Doctor until 2019. I felt so comfortable with Dr. M. Santos. She listened to me, and I didn't feel rushed at all. She took concern for and chose the tests she felt I needed, and knowing how concerned I was, she got back to me as soon as possible, with results.She immediately prescribed the medication needed. I am now in Wesley Chapel Florida and I have not found a Doctor like her. She is the BEST IN MY BOOK !!

My experience with Dr.Santos was less than optimal. She was quick to dismiss my questions/concerns and made it seem like she had no interest in seeing me. This was not even the issue I had though, the issue was after I saw her and I had blood drawn. After the blood was drawn I recieved a letter in the mail saying everything was normal but my cholesterol levels were slightly off. Instead of writing in the letter that it could be due to a multitude of factors i.e. hereditary and not just due to diet or physical activity, she wrote bluntly "your levels are off, do more cardio". Little does she know I run 16 miles a week. This was insensitive and goes to show how little she actually cares about the individual themselves as she never asked me how active I was and it turns out this runs in my family. In addition, it turned out this was not an isolated incidence. I recently spoke to a friend who went to her with serious concerns-she had lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time, and was… concerned that it was a result of the depression she was experiencing, Dr. Santos told her "people are just jealous when they see someone your size, so just smile about it" and then told her to read and do yoga for her depression. I wonder how many other people Dr.Santos has pushed under the rug when they are in serious need of help. Unacceptable.

I would not recommend Dr. Santos to anyone. She seems very cold and does not act like a doctor. She made me have $1000 worth of blood work drawn and then sent me to a "specialist" to have more blood work drawn so the first round meant nothing I guess yet why would you order it??? Not very good will not be going back.

Dr. never even listened to my heart. She walked in shook my hand talked and left. Didn't feel like she addressed the reason I was there. My first and probably my last visit. Definately not worth the wait which was over an hour.

Dr. Santos is lazy and does not care about her patients. She ignored my serious medical issues and disregarded my symptoms. I paid for it greatly in the long run. If you are sick you can never get an appt with her you are told to go to urgent care. If you ask her questions about any medical issues she tells you "she doesn't treat that" "see a specialist." I'm sorry I thought you were a doctor too.

I've gone to dr. santos for years and she used to be a great doctor however since she joined mkmg she does not care about her patients the way she used to. You go to her for help and she completely ignores your symptoms you tell her you have and she focuses on other stuff instead. I am never going to her again. I recently went to her for lyme symptoms and she told me i couldn't possibly have the symptoms i was experiencing and decided to focus more on my family's other health issues instead. While that's great that you feel the need to tell me about that stuff i already know it and i'm not here for that. I'm here because i'm experiencing a different issue! I ended up having to go to a different doctor who actually helped me and saw that yeah what i was experiencing was lyme disease symptoms. This isn't the 1st time she's neglected to listen to me too. Anyway - she used to be a good doctor. Not so much anymore.
