Dr. James Ming Fang, MD

Awful. Not taken seriously, just prescribed more medication and more laxatives. Staff is incompetent and mismanages information. I was threatened to be dismissed from the practice because they had the wrong information. Overall, staff is dehumanizing & inadequate. Results are delivered with minimal effort & information. Worst staff I've ever encountered. Doctor does not care to solve root of problem- he generalizes & prescribes medicine w/o a concrete diagnosis.

I had an endoscopy done and 2 months ago and since thn it hurts to swallow and throat severely burns. I let dr. Ming fang know and he told me go see my regular dr. that that has nothing to do with him! Well i didn't have this problem until after he did the endoscopy procedure also whn he was done he just ran right by me yelled out everything fine and kept going. I am very frightened right now and dont know what to do. Did i make a mistake in allowing him to do this procedure, i pray not? Now i have a colonoscopy coming up with him and now twice as frightened, what do i do?

I strongly recommend this doctor due to his profound professional knowledge in his GI field. He actually saves people's lives!

I do not recommend Dr. Fang. He spent 90% of the appointment describing various insurance plans. This is fine if your main focus is insurance; however, that is why he has a billing mananger. When seeing a doctor, the focus should be about the patient's health and not whether or not they have a good insurance plan. In my case, I have very good insurance, but he was still trying to convince me to do a Saturday procedure which would not have been covered as well as if I did it on a weekday. He was concerned that my employer would not allow me to leave work on a weekday for an endoscopy. While that was gracious of him to think of my employer, that is not why I was there. I was there to learn about my condition and how we could identify the cause of it. At the end of the appointment, he asked if I had questions. My question to him was, when will we speak about my health and my symptoms. He told me there was nothing to talk about and that we should just do an endoscopy on Saturday.… I will not be returning to his office.

This doctor is cruel, pessimistic and negative. We were trying to figure out a diagnosis for a cancer type, and he straight out told my dad if we find something in a certain location we will just leave it there because there is no cure and it's a matter of time... Furthermore Oncologists are very optimistic and are treating my dad. Do not waste your time with this unprofessional insensible person. Look for a smart and professional Doctor.

Dr. Fang is a great doctor. Very accommodating. He has the best training background with superb skills. I strongly recommend him.

look somewhere else for a real doctor with knowledge and is able to communicate with you. Been mis-diagnosed BIG TIME...one vist Mr. F told me to just be comfortable, it will be just a matter to time, and soon I will lose my mind as well...REALLY! Office staff is awful as well

The staff needs working on, they are very un organized and un friendly, not polished for the medical field in the least. Dr F, pretty much cut and dry kinda professionalism, it would seem to be more professional to have patients records on board when you meet, or come in for a repeat visit. Empty handed is scary to say the least. Or is it that he prepares the daily patients records in his memory? At this time for review I have to go with a rating of 1 star. I have yet to get a call back regarding tests results like I was promised ;(
