My brother was Dr. Li's patient and he is still speaks highly of Dr. Li. I decided to see Dr. Ming Li for my thyroid condition. After a couple of visits I do feel better. I recommended Dr. Li to my co worker.

I had high blood pressure for 7 years and had seen many doctors including top endocrinologists in Stanford, but no one could make the correct diagnosis and help me. I ended up taking many pills and suffering from the side effects of the pills. I first saw Dr. Ming Li in Jan. 2011 and she correctly diagnosed me of primary hyperaldosteronism. She sent me to the best surgeon of UCSF. I am all cured!

I called the office to ask Dr. Ming Li a question and her receptionist tried to tell me that she is so busy that she doesn't "have time" to talk to me. She tried to answer the question herself. I felt like my privacy was breeched and then the secretary did not know how to answer the question so she told the dr something completely different than what I said. I was then passed to the dr without being aware until the dr got on the phone and started giving me an ear full about how rude I am. I was simply asking a question. I then tried to calm her down by reassuring her that I didn't mean to offend. She cut me off again and told me that I should consider going to another doctors office. Everytime I have come to her office there is always a wait time of at least 45 minutes and the receptionist is very rude and short with people. NEVER going back there again!

Dr. Li is a very caring physician that will work with you to resolve your your issue. I was coming home from work and falling asleep most days. My regular doctor said my blood test results (including thyroid) were "in the range", so there should be no problem. I feel I was very lucky in accidentally picking Dr. Li from the list of physicians available. In one visit Dr. Li identified I had hypothroidism and prescribed appropriate hormones. I feel great now, have very positive outlook and am really perfoming well at work. Thank you Dr. Li.

The wait time has been hit or miss. Some days I'm the only patient there, other days the waiting room is packed and I wait for 15-30 minutes. She's not a feel-good, chatty kind of doctor. She's very matter of fact, doesn't beat around the bush, and tells you very frankly what you need to do to improve your health in addition to the treatment that she's providing. I really like her open, cut-to-the-chase approach. Her diagnosis is accurate and treatment has been working as promised. I've been a patient for 4 years.

My co-worker referred me to Dr. Ming Li when she heard that I had thyroid problem. I have seen Dr. Li for the past 3 months, my thyroid has become normal and I have never felt better all my life. I would recommend Dr. Li to people with thyroid problems.
