Dr. Minh Chau Thi Nguyen, MD

I saw this doctor today and she told me that my symptoms were because I was perimenopausal. She ignored my concerns related to my chronic pain and dismissed my my blood test result as 30 percent of the population tests positive in other words it’s nothing. She also dismissed the pain I feel when I breathe in my lungs and back as it just being a muscle She took the role of a gynecologist during my visit to educate me on menopause instead of addressing my concerns related to my symptoms! I felt like she was projecting her menopause symptoms on to me. She is very arrogant, condescending, rude and dismissive doctor who is licensed as a board certified rheumatologist but behaves like a gynecologist. Perimenopause does not cause pain in the chest or when you breathe, doctor! Now I have to get a second opinion because she wasted my time projecting her menopausal symptoms on to me when I am not going through menopause. Just awful doctor!

My wife just saw this so-called specialist. She said this is the worst excuse for a doctor she has ever seen. Clueless, rude, incompetent, unprofessional, and condescending. What a waste of time. If this is the kind of specialist KP hires, I'm seriously thinking of changing my insurance next open enrollment.

She is a fantastic diagnostician. She pinpointed my problems after reviewing my blood work. If you are in the Kaiser Permanente plan and need a rheumotologist, definitely ask for a referral to see her.

Unfortunately, Dr. Nguyen betrayed my trust. I trust that physicians should treat patients based on established specialty guidelines. Dr. Nguyen is not following basic definitions of rheumatology guidelines.

this doctor is more concern about her style and popularity than a patience health and well being. I have seen her many times and she's more focus about who she knows and how they met . She's also very conceded and condescending . I have since changed doctors . My health is too important to me than her ego.
