Minnie is obstinate in that she refuses to prescribe FDA approved medications because, by her own statement, she doesn’t trust peer reviewed studies. She wasn’t knowledgeable in the field I went to see her for and she in fact allowed my situation to get worse because she refused to prescribe the medicine required and instead wanted to go down a homeopathic route, which isn’t what I wanted. She is unclear in what she says to the point her assisting nurses did not know what her direction given was when I asked them to repeat a summary. Minnie doesn’t listen to the patient and ignores what they are telling her entirely during examination. I would recommend avoiding this nurse practitioner, she is a poor quality provider who seems to base her medical guidance on gut feeling rather than evidence and medical consensus, and in my case at least, made the wrong call 100% of the time.
