Dr Minna Ruth Selub

She has an unlicensed doctor from another country working at her office.

I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I love you both DR Selub and Debbie my journey has been a long one but I am so pleased that it was with two of the most incredible ,warm ,caring ,understanding and patient people in the world I am proud to say I am 45 and pregnant with twins Debbie feels like a sister she has been there even at the most strangest time at the gym on the tread mill she even been in the ER and sick and answered me to help me feel better if there is anyone out there that is trying to find a Doctor for IVF DR Selub and Debbie is the best gift I can give anyone

I went to dr. Selub for ivf treatment. From the beginning she recommended me to use egg donor but i was not willing. But each time I went there or called the office her receptionist Debbie would push me to use egg donor. Who is a secretary or a receptionist to discuss or offer treatment options to patients? I thought this is only the job of the doctor and not the secretary to recommend treatments to patients. I been to many doctors offices in my life and I never seen a secretary discussing treatment options or recommend treatments to me. Dr. Minna Selub was reprimanded by Florida Health Department for allowing unlicensed Roberto Infante to recommend treatments to patients. Looks like Dr. Selub also allows her secretary to recommend treatments to patients and discuss treatment options with them recommending egg donors.

I had a few unsuccessful donor eggs IVFS and frozen embryos transfers with Dr. Selub. Then I went to see a real infertility specialist (a reproductive endocrinologist, unlike Dr. Selub). After looking at my medical records the reproductive endocrinologist asked me if dr Selub checked my uterus thickness with ultrasound regularly before my transfers. I said No but only one time a few weeks before my transfer. He said checking uterus thickness before transfers is routine for frozen embryos transfers and donors eggs transfers to decide the exact date of transfer. I told him I was told of exact dates of my frozen transfers weeks before. He said that explains why she did not check my uterus before my transfer to decide a date because she already decided weeks before that is unacceptable. Then I figured out why my cycles with dr. Selub were never successful. After a while I found out she is not a reproductive endocrinologist although her secretary Debbie always tells you dr Selub is a… reproductive endocrinologist. Her website says she had fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology but never says she is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist. So she is only an OB/GYN and NOT a reproductive endocrinologist. I feel very upset for the time and money I spent with Dr. Selub. After I had treatment with my reproductive endocrinologist, I got pregnant right away and now I have a beautiful baby. What a difference!

My experience with Dr. Selub and her office was not that great. Every single time Dr. Selub and her assistant Debbie come in the exam room, Debbie greets me saying â??Hellooo young lady!â?? I heard from other friends that she says this to other patients also. My name is not â??Young Ladyâ??, I have a name, you know? Besides, I am not that young. She may be saying this as a compliment but I find it very informal and unprofessional. Also one time I had an early afternoon appointment with Dr. Selub. When I arrived, there was very strong smell of cooked fish all over the office. Although I like fish a lot, the smell was so strong that it made me nauseous and sick. For a moment, I thought I was in a restaurant kitchen instead of a fertility clinic. Even in restaurants, it doesn't smell that strong. I guess, in addition to their infertility business, they are also running a catering business in their office. What a shame!

This Dr. Minna Selub's office is the most unprofessional I have ever seen. When I was in the office talking with her secretary Debbie, Debbie was telling me (with all the details) about her second job, and how another doctor had hired her on the spot at Dr. Selub's office. Why on earth do I need to know about Debbieâ??s second job and how she was hired by a second doctor on the spot for her second job? I am there for my treatment, so talk to me only about my treatment. When my test result showed that I have the HPV virus, Debbie informed me over the phone that I would need a colposcopy. Then she said I might be just a carrier of the HPV virus, and not have the actual disease itself. Then she said to me "Donâ??t worry. I have the same virus, and Dr Selub has it too. Both Dr. Selub and I are carriers of the HPV virus." Again, why on earth do I need to know that both Debbie and Dr. Selub have the HPV virus? Very unprofessional. Unbelievably unprofessional.

After having surgery to remove an ovary and both Fallopian tubes -- this 35 year old single woman wanted badly to become a mother and felt it was a hopeless dream. I was put in touch with Dr Selub and her staff and they could not have been more encouraging, enthusiastic, caring and most importantly-- sensitive to my feelings. The dr helped me to understand the challenges of my age, health status and that IVF was not a sure thing- but she and her staff were by my side throughout the whole process with 100% support and professionalism. These reasons-- along with many more-- are why I have the utmost confidence in dr selub and her staff as the only fertility specialists that I would recommend.

I really don't agree with any of the bad reviews I have read about Dr. Selub. I am pregnant now (6 months) and had the best experience I could ever imagine in this office. I was able to reach Debbie and or Dr. Selub at any hour on their cell phones for any of my 100 questions and concerns I had during my IVF treatment. I got pregnant in my first round and was offered a discount as a professional courtesy. I would highly recommend this office for anybody seeking treatment and wanting or needed very personalized attention. I was in two other offices prior to finding Dr. Selub, what a GOD send she is. I am having a boy!!!

After reading previous comments it saddens me that some people have had a not so good experience. I know the stress of wanting to have a baby and wanting immediate results, unfortunately this is something that requires patience. I have had a very wonderful experience from day one at Dr. Selub's office. Her and Debbie are the best. They were so compassionate and sensitive to my very tender body and heart. They made themselves available both day and night and I never had to wait for a response to one of my 1,000's of worried emails. I did IUI's multiple times and then finally opted for IVF which worked on the first try. Not only have I had such an amazing, family feeling, experience with them, but I was referred from a friend who got pregnant on the second try and loved them as well. Today I've had a total of 5 friends whom have all had a beautiful experience. If you're someone who is struggling with the decision on whether or not to go with Dr. Selub or not than I want you to know that… she comes highly recommended. I'm sure that the bad reviews came from people not understanding the process and patience that is needed when embarking on this journey. Good luck and keep the faith!

I was lucky to seek out and find the services of a smaller office after dealing with a larger office that made me feel like a number rather than a patient needing specialized care in a critical and personal matter such as infertility. From my first appointment, I knew that I was going to be more than a number on a chart. Debbie the Office Manager made me feel comfortable and made all of my appointments around my work schedule. Debbie's prompt responses to my questions and emails made this difficult journey a lot easier to understand and made the entire process easy. Dr. Selub was honest and up front on which treatments would work for me and my husband. I was able to speak with Dr. Selub whenever I had questions. Dr. Selub (and her TEAM) helped me achieve my overall goal of becoming a mom and although words cannot express my full gratitude. I am confident that if I hadn't found her or the Florida Institute for Reproductive Sciences and Technologies office that I would have given up on… an experience (a family). If you need a Doctor or an office to assist you with infertility issues then I highly recommend giving them a call.
