Dr. Minnie Sy Enriquez, MD

My experience is the opposite of the other review. Dr Enriquez treats me, my mother, and my husband. She recognizes us as people not just as files. She listens to my concerns and takes them seriously. She follows up on labwork and required tests like mammograms and colonoscopies, as well as on treatments by other specialists. I have had long waits in the wsiting room but that is not the norm. There have been several people over the years who take vitals and some are better than others but Dr Enriquez is consistently good. I have always been left alone to disrobe, and she knocks before entering. Perhaps Jane's visit was during the merger between Elkhart Hosp and Memorial Hospital. There were big changes in the way records were kept as the two systems merged and the doctors had to learn alot more data entry. Things are more settled now.

Moving to a new area and finding a new primary care doctor is stressful. I called the Elkhart Clinic to schedule an new patient appointment and they set me up with DR. MINNIE ENRIQUEZ. She entered the exam room with a mask on her face and never removed it to introduce herself to me. She had me undress and put a gown on in front of her, no privacy curtain, which made me feel very uncomfortable. She was arrogant, failure to listen to me as a patient, demanding, abrupt, dismissal of my fears, and her rudeness especially regarding my weight. I felt intimidated and couldn't wait to leave. She shown NO empathy and my experience with Dr. M Enriquez has been very negative. She is a poor communicator and she has little sympathy for her patients. Physicians like her who think they are so adept at their jobs that they are worth seeing even if this means putting up with their rudeness are very WRONG! I would never recommend anyone to see her.
