Every ailment was answered with a "probably this" and she never actually gave me any course of action to feeling better. I was disappointed that my pain was only worth a "probably" and some masking medicine. She is definitely a GP who only treats symptoms and does not care to investigate past a cursory glance. Additionally, she made some questionable calls. During the visit, she gave me a prescription to start taking that day. She also thought I might be pregnant and scheduled a pregnancy test (via blood sample) the next week. When I read the warnings on the prescription at home, it advised that the medicine should not be taken if you are pregnant or may become pregnant. It was a non-essential prescription that very much could have waited until after being tested. I found her methods half-as*ed and a bit scary. Also, the clinic submitted the insurance claim incorrectly and I received the full bill. I am now having to have my insurance dispute the bill with the clinic.

I was a patient of Dr. Choe's for about 3 years, and I was very sick with many chronic issues. She kept telling me I was "stressed" or "depressed" even when I assured her I was not. She told me I was stressed and just didn't know it. She prescribed anti-depressants saying it would help with the pain, but it did not help me. She told me I had fibromyalgia, which is an easy diagnosis for doctors to give when they don't want to say they don't know what's wrong. All of the medicines she prescribed me masked my symptoms but never fixed my health issues. I was very sick for many years until my insurance switched and I saw a different doctor who did a thorough blood test and diagnosed me with Celiac Disease. My intestines were damaged, and I had bone density loss. After diagnosis and treatment, my health has improved so much. I didn't even think it was possible for me to feel this great, and I wouldn't have gotten here if I had stayed as her patient.

Dr. Choe has been my PCP since 2007. She is thorough, caring and interested in her patients. Highly recommend.

My health problems have very much improved since I have been under the care of Dr. Choe. She is on top of latest treatments and meds. She makes a person feel relaxed during a visit. I highly recommend her to family and friends.

She is very attentive and caring. She looks at you when you talk to her and try to understand the whole story. I am very fortunate to have her as my Doctor, even though she thought I was a woman when I came in the first time to see her. Lol
