Had a very sore throat, felt like strep, had many of the signs, but tested negative. Had already taken 10 days of an antibiotic, was near better, but symptoms started to return with a vengeance. All the standard cold type relievers failed. Dr Albaugh did not hesitate to renew the antibiotic and thank goodness she did, because I was going downhill fast. Took the drugs she prescribed and was back on my feet in a couple days. It is sad that in this day and age, that you have large medical providers, who are on an anti-antibiotic campaign. I felt like I could have ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. Both my general physician and the referred ENT specialist let me down. Not only could I not get an emergency sick appointment, but one said they were more concerned about community antibiotic resistance after only 10 days of Augmentin. Thank you Dr Albaugh for your common sense approach, service to the community, and for helping me get well.
