Dr. Mircea Albin Morariu, MD

Very nice to have as my doctor. He took the time to listen to how I was feeling and got right to my problem and did all the right tests.

I'm very glad I went to Dr. Morariu. Him and his staff is very professionally, and very understanding. He was able to help subside my migraines to where I can function in everyday life.

I saw The older Doc at first he did I think it’s called an eng where they stick needles in ur legs arms Rec to see the extent of my nerve damage I cry & told him your hurting me & being roughing! He stat oh stop it lady !!!! He yelled at me & mind u Iam a sick personal& have had this test many times & never had a Doctor act like this before, well next visit I saw the younger of the two the son , which was no better ! When he was thru & I ask for my report every thing he had stated & writing had never taken place or was verbalize !!! Never again!!!!!!

I'm in agreement with all of the horrible reviews of Dr Morariu. He's rude, obnoxious, and unethically suitable to be a doctor regardless of his 53 years of experience. He should have his license to practice revoked as he really is only concerned about making money and not about the welfare of his patients. My advice is to check out other doctors and RUN AWAY from this office.

From seeing some of the prior reviews, it appears they have mistaken the younger doctor, who is the son ("junior"), from the older dr in the practice, albin, the father. the younger dr is courteous, soft spoken, kind, and is a fantastic doctor with great credentials. he's taken care of me and my mom for several years, and i've seen a bunch of neurologists: he's the best.

Actually told me "why don't you let me be the Dr. and you be the patient." I'm an R.N. and I don't pretend to know everything but, I've had M.S. for a while now and I certainly know what certain meds do to me and what medical history I have. The staff however, is beyond reproach. I never have to call back for paperwork or anything. They are awesome.

Saw the younger Dr: Kind, caring, intelligent, wonderful experience.

Had a great experience with Dr Morariu Jr. Excellent doctor, friendly family feel in the office, state of the art testing.

He does not care about his patients. I hope and pray it is not a money racket as he would only send me to places for tests that he knew did not take my insurance and I had to pay cash. He has horrible bed side manner. When I asked a question he snaps and says" You are not the Doctor I am" when I asked and begged that I can't pay 150 dollars out of pocket for the places he is sending me for testing and to send me to Bethseda for the tests as I am covered he decided to drop me as a Patient. I got crazy storied from his staff why he can only use 2 certain places for tests " so he can read them better" such bull he could also see the disk if he would read what it says no matter where I would get this MRI done. Verdict - it's all about money with him and does not care about the patient. It is his way or no way no matter how financially going to places for tests that do not take my insurance costs me. I can't afford 150 bucks for tests.

The doctor is very old and demanding. His motive is to generate income for his office. He forces everyone to take his in office tests to constantly bill your insurance. The office is run by his family and his wife is the nurse. His methods are dated and he is not up to date with modern medicine. Over all a horrible experience and I would not recommend the doctor.
