Dr. Mirel Abramovici, MD

Dr. Abramovici is an excellent doctor. He will provide you all the details you need regarding your health and will also give information to some doctors who accepts your insurance. In this office I felt like I am home. Will def recommend my colleagues here.

Dr Abramovici is the best doctor in the NY metro area. I highly recommend him. He is kind, compassionate, & extremely knowledgable.

I have to say that I was very disappointed in this office. When I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out all paper work, (there is a lot of paper work) I was not even greeted by the rude front desk staff. I said hi and gave my name. I was told your early have a seat. I said don't I need to fill out paperwork? Well yes but we are not ready for you yet. I sat patiently and waited and waited. I also was sitting in the dark. They did not even put the lights on. When I received my paperwork to fill out, I asked can you put the lights on? I was told NO we are not allowed to put the lights on until the doctor comes in. I was like why not? Because the office manager said we need to conserve to save money. I can understand in a way, but I am filling out paperwork in the dark. Anyway after filling out 6 pages of paperwork I finally went in to see the doctor. I will say he is wonderful. He is gentile, explains everything in great detail. He is compassionate and very caring. On… the other hand the exam rom was dirty. They did not change the table paper, the floors were dusty and there was bloody gauze pads on the floor. The Medical assistant was rude. She did not even know how to take my blood pressure. She took it 3 times and kept getting a different result. The lab tech was the best. She was so good I did not even feel the needle. She was very nice as well. As I was leaving I was asked to pay my co-pay. Ok no problem I said. I gave a credit card as was told cash only. Ok I gave her cash. I said I need to make a follow up apt, I was told no you don't we will call you to come back. I said ok. I never got a call back with my appt or my blood results. I called to find out about my results, and was told I have to make a appt. I said I was told I would get a call back and I did not receive one, I was told O well we forgot. I said can I make an appt for this wee? I was told NO we nothing for a month. I said that's it. I need to find a new doctor, and I was ok good luck and was hung up on. I could ell the slob on the phone was eating because she was chewing in my ear. BTW when I arrived the girls were eating a pizza at the front desk and there was cups of soda on the desk and window sill. I think eating is important, but when patients arrive food should not be all over the desk. I am sorry your a doctor's office not a cafeteria. Needless to say I will not be going back. The doctor is wonderful, sorry I have o leave him, but his rude disrespectful staff is the reason why.

Mirel was very easygoing and friendly with me. He was also extensively knowledgeable and helpful!
