Dr. Miriam Haya Bensimhon, MD

She's extremely empathetic, realistic, and helpful to all your needs. After seeing a series of doctors who were completely useless to me for years, I couldn't be more grateful to have found Dr. Bensimhon. She's also very flexible with scheduling and has even done a phone appointment with me (pre-covid) when I couldn't make it into the office.

She's the best combination of qualities: empathic, professional, knowledgeable!!! I'm an adut and recommend her without qualification to understand adult issues, as well as adolescent and child issues!!!

It was nice to have a Psychiatrist(MD)/ Psychologist(For talk therapy) via seeing 1 person...though I didn't have many sessions, Dr.Bensimhon helped secure my insurance benefits, with her recommendation, to continue treatment after I moved out of state.

I forgot to rate you before, although I just called you. I realize that you have been the best doctor I have consulted throughout my many years of going to Psychiatrists. You spent the time not only to prescribe medication, but also to see how I was doing in life.

I do not recommend this Doctor as she works from a biased point of view. Her lack of integrity has proven to be detrimental to both of my children's future. She was easily persuaded to write an affidavit to a court judge that she as a doctor did not fully support. She felt "pressured" by lawyers and corporations, knowing very well that this was not the best decision for my children. Her decision to do this whilst giving me information contrary to her actions was detrimental to my children's wellness and future.

When my young teenage daughter was depressed and injuring herself, I didn't know where to turn and was desperate for help. Thankfully, she came under the care of Dr. Bensimhon. Not only did Dr. Bensimhon enormously help my daughter get better, she was always there to give me advice and support during those difficult times. I was so impressed with Dr. Bensimhon's insights, patience and genuine concern.

Very cognizant of my needs. Very smart and caring. Accessible. I had a nasty side effect to a prescription and she is doing everything she can to make sure we problem solve and get me on the proper drug without side-effects.
