Dr. Bloom is thorough and knowledgeable. She helped us understand the basis for her diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Her sensitivity to the individual issues of our child and our family has a been very important for the progress our child is making.

I sought care with Dr. Miriam Bloom for my adolescent child because their pediatrician noted her as having especially high patient reviews. I provided a detailed report from a recent psychological assessment documenting my child's diagnoses. Dr. Bloom does not take insurance, so we paid the 4 figure sum for the intake out of pocket. She took our money and refused to treat our child. Just straight up refused. I found another psychiatrist in network, my child started medication, and immediately improved. I recommend all parents stay far away from Dr. Bloom.

Dr. Bloom was referred to us by a friend. We had not taken our son to a psychiatrist before and so we were unsure and quite nervous about what to expect. To our, and our sons big relief, Dr Bloom was amazing. She listened attentively, worked through my son's anxiety and really made us feel comfortable. We have been seeing Dr Bloom now for several months and could not be happier with the results.
