Dr. Sivkin gave me the attention I needed and took my concerns seriously. She is direct and to the point but I appreciated her honesty.

She was my Gynochologist when I was pregnant with my daughter in 1998. I had so many problems like pop rash and not gaining weight, she always tell very hardly that I should deliver early and eat red meat as I am Hindu and she knows that I don’t eat beef. It’s not the last thing I want to tell about her. After my c-section, I started bleeding so heavily and it’s Saturday i called and told I am passing big clots like lemon sizes and she said it’s fine just keep pillows under my legs and I will be fine. By Sunday I got up and it was a big gush of bleeding that I passed and was unconscious and all my building people called 911 and luckily I survived. But by seeing that my parents who came one week back from overseas, lost 10 years of their life span. It’s more than 20 years this thing happened but still it’s very hard for us to forget the whole thing. After that heavy bleeding, I faced lot of problems like weight gain, hypothyroidism and anemic still today. How come any doctor be so… irresponsible that after c- section that I had a hammorage, the reason we got is she didn’t clean properly after the surgery. The irony is she was asking everyone who came to ER that night that who are they related to us.

Dr. Sivkin has been my doctor for the last 16 years since I was teenager. She has always been fantastic. She is so truly caring and thoughtful when it comes to her patients! I honestly feel as though she really takes the time for me and always answers any of my questions (no matter how silly). I would recommend her to anyone!

My pregnancy was such a good experience. I transferred from another all-female group in town and found Dr. Sivkin such a pleasure. She was on call the day I delivered and spent all day with me. She was very helpful and encouraging. I will always go back to see her
