Dr. Miriam Liza Vishny, MD

Dr. Vishny is always thorough in her assessment and follow up of her patients. She caught my mom's colon cancer 20 years ago and my mom is thriving at 86 years old. She removed polyps from my colon 2 separate times. She also made sure to order an ultra sound for me since my Father died of a AAA. She is the best GI anyone could ask for! Love her!! Will miss her!

I liked Dr. Vishny on my first visit, but her assistant, Becky, is horrible! She had an attitude at my scheduling the appointment and was much worse later on the phone after my first visit. Becky is rude, condescending, she doesn't let you speak and explain what you need, very intimidating!! I, because of her attitude, then cancelled my appointment for an endoscopy with Dr. Vishny for 2 days later. Then Becky called me on my 2 different phone numbers to say something for her colleagues and phone recording to think I had gotten upset because she had put me on hold once until the line got cut off and right after that didn't answer my phone call, but it wasn't it was because of her attitude. I learned later from the NEXTDOOR NEIGHBOR site that she is famous for mistreating Dr. Vishny's patients!! I will never go back!

I have been seeing Dr. Visney for years -- as I have a gene that causes so many family members to have stomach cancer. She has been with so many of my family members with this issue. In my case -- she is working hard to make sure that if I do get it -- that we will beat it by getting rid of it before it takes over my body. SHE is one to make sure that I come in regularly to have my stomach scoped . Her "normal" talk with me is refreshing. We are working together as a team to make sure that I can enjoy life as long as possible.

Dr. Vishny's nurse is very unprofessional and honestly very unpleasant to deal with, as a result, I would not recommend this Doctor.
