Wonderful doctor and person

I called for an appointment and once I told him what insurance plan I had, he said he is not taking on new patients because his schedule is full. I said that he's on the website and he said, he is not taking any patients and to get a referral to someone else. I asked if he could recommend someone and he said no.

I concur with other reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dr. Baron to anyone. Although I feel he has suitable knowledge about treatment options, I found him to be totally devoid of compassion when it was needed most. Had I not had favorable experiences in the past with other doctors as a reference, I might say you need to settle for this. But use caution. You may pay a big price for settling on this one.

Dr. Baron is unoffensive, but I wouldn't describe him as caring. He will write you prescriptions, but that's it.

i echo the sentiments of the first reviewer exactly. felt he couldn't wait to get me out of his office. compared to other psychiatrists he's not all that awful, but that's not saying much.

Every time I mentioned a personal issue, he told me to talk to my therapist. He gave me the meds I needed, and I had no desire to see him otherwise.

Dr. Baron is readily available to see me on short notice and works around my hectic schedule. He spends an appropriate amount of time learning about any issues or challenges and provides excellent care.

Dr. Baron is a kind caring human being. He treats his patients as equals, and is in no way patronizing. I wish all MD's would have his combination of caring compassion and respect for their patients.
