Dr. Misbah Huzaira Khan, MD

Dr. Khan had encouraged me over the phone about a year ago to fly to New York to do a consultation with her. She thought it would give me hope to do the in-person consult even though I was awaiting funds still to do a revisional liposuction surgery on my abdomen following a number of other procedures that left me with some loose skin and contour irregularities due to underlying scar tissue. She even told me that the consultation fee could be applied to my surgery. Well, I did fly to New York with my sister the moment I had the money for the trip and the consult. I left Dr. Khan's office feeling anything but hopeful. I didn't find her to be the kind and compassionate person that I had talked to on the phone, and that is what was promised and what I was so desperately in need of. I thought I had found my surgeon. Now, I don't know what to think. When I asked her what kind of results I could expect from the surgery, she told me she's not God and that she can't fix everything. I… don't know what she meant by that. Doesn't she think she can help me? She hasn't even responded to a couple of email messages I've sent to her office recently about what the problem is. Is my abdomen too lacking in fat? Is my skin too old to benefit from her procedures? And regarding applying the consultation fee to my surgery, I was told as I handed her my credit card that that was only if I scheduled my surgery within the month. Nothing like that was mentioned over the phone or listed on her website. All she seemed to care about was time and money. I would still consider working with her if I thought she were the very best surgeon for me, but how can I possibly know that? I don't want to think of myself as a total glutton for punishment by working with someone who doesn't seem to care for me. She also wasn't willing to discuss any other concerns with me such as some hair restoration procedures I may be in need of as my hair is starting to thin in one area. I flew all the way to New York to see her, and she can't address one additional concern? She came running into the office just barely on time for our appointment, she didn't spend a great deal of time with me considering all I went through to get there, and we were only able to focus on the revision surgery. It's not like I can fly to New York every time I have a question for her. Poor bedside manner would have to be my main complaint about her as she seemed otherwise knowledgeable about revisional-liposuction procedures. I almost feel victimized as though I am being singled out for abuse from her when so many others seem to rave about her and her treament of them. What is it that's different about me that I can't be treated with kindness, courtesy, and respect, as well? I just feel so sad! :(

Dr. Khan does the best lips and face work! I have tried other places and I always end up back in Dr. Khan’s office. Don’t waste your time with other doctors, CALL DR. KHAN! She is a facial expert that went to Harvard and it shows in her flawless work.

I have known Doctor Khan for many years both personally and professionally, so I have long been very familiar with her impeccable work. One thing that has always greatly impressed me about Dr Khan is that although she is an expert professional at the top of her field, she also possesses the humility required to truly listen to her patients and hear them and this, paired with her meticulous talent honed by many years of hard work, enables her to see their vision and perfectly deliver the results that they want. Dr Khan has always had remarkably close relationships with her patients, especially those for whom she has done corrective work, and who fly from all over the world to see her because they refuse to be treated by anyone else. She has treated me many times over the years, but I do not think I fully appreciated the full measure of her skill until she recently corrected a faulty filler injection that I had done elsewhere. Obviously it is invaluable to have a doctor that you trust,… but now I understand that the attachment that her corrective patients have for her because when she fixes you it’s feels as though she has given you back your own face or your own body. That’s it for me because I am never going anywhere else!

The Phenomenal Dr Kahn Misbah!! I thank God that I came to Dr Misbah Khan and underwent the most amazing transformation!! After many botched liposuction procedures I was lucky to find Dr Kahn. The change in my body is Unbelievable!!! Dr Kahn saved my life. Literally! From a deformed-body that i had and after only five procedures with Kahn, my body is better than ever!! butt is raised, round and sexiest than ever! The arms are beautifully shaped and all of my body deformities have been completely reversed!! I am totally totally back to myself physically and mentally! Thank you Dr Khan Misbah!

Dr. Kahn was extremely attentive, scanned my body from head to toe and provided a diagnosis for several things I was unaware of and gave me specific care as treatment with remarkable results.

Dr. Kahn spends an extraordinary amount of time with me--yesterday's visit (perhaps my 5th, for laser, filler and botox) lasted five hours (and was strangely relaxing). Norhing is rushed. She has declined to do a face lift--she's conservative, which I like--and she's never pushy. Her best work takes place over time, as subtle changes build up. Her skill with lasers makes me look as if I've had a surgical lift on my eyelids; my arms and hands and neck look younger too. She's unusually gentle and compassionate. And she does a really thorough skin-cancer check.
