Dr. Misha Sivia

I would not recommend her to anyone ever. I don’t understand how she even still works here. Unprofessional.

The other reviews here are SPOT ON. She is totally disengaged during sessions and unresponsive. She is super cold and rude and not understanding at all. She really should not be in a job interacting with patients, especially those with mental illness. She asks completely irrelevant questions and multiple times and seems extremely judgmental.

I have been seeing her for the last 1 year. She is so robotic, she would just write the medicine without even listening to all my symptoms. I thought I am seeing a psychiatrist. She doesn't have any compassion for human beings. Even a normal human being, a neighbor would be more compassionate than her. I just got stuck with her due to some medical issues. Such people shouldn't be allowed to practice. I dreaded my appointments with her. On top of that, she sent negative comments to my company. I think she shouldn't be allowed to practice psychiatry.

Dr. Sivia has received a number of negative reviews here, which surprise me quite a bit. She has been extremely accommodating to me over the last two years. Taking video appointments, squeezing me in on early mornings, etc... On two occasions where I had a crisis she was able to handle the situation professionally and truly cared about getting a positive outcome. I wouldn't go anywhere else for care, I trust her quite a bit at this point. Worth an initial visit to see if you have the same experience. PCPA in general is great because they have online booking and lots of modern accommodations.

Dr Sivia is a dangerous psychiatrist. She forgot to fill my medications multiple times, leaving me for WEEKS without my antidepressants. She would not show up for our appointments and then charge me a late fee. On top of all this, her bedside manner is terrible. She is cold and aloof and condescending; not exactly what you need when you're seeking compassion for a mental illness. I am so upset by my experiences with her dangerous unprofessionalism. She should not be allowed to practice.

She lied about missing appointments and charged me huge late fees. She is cold, unfriendly, and not empathetic. She left a very nasty message on my voicemail after SHE missed an appointment but blamed it on me. I highly recommend staying away from Dr. Sivia. She consistently started our appointments 10-20 minutes late but had the audacity to charge ME late fees.
