Dr. Mitchell C Benson

Dr. Benson is a truly gifted physician/surgeon, who displays great compassion and sensitivity to his patients. I was just recently diagnosed with Bladder Cancer - Dr. Benson took a considerable amount of time to explain things to both myself and my wife. He could not have been kinder or more caring. His Office Staff are also excellent - especially his Nurse Practioner, Kim. Rest assured, Dr. Benson and his skilled staff will take great care of you!

Very unimpressive man. Really shocking that he is a doctor with his offensive demeanor. Very unprofessional. I'm really astounded that he is part of such an excellent practice. I highly recommend you go elsewhere other than to him. His personal communication skills are lacking and he's exceptionally rude.

Dr. Benson's reputation as a brilliant clinician and surgeon precedes him. But much more than that, Dr. Benson is a kind and compassionate physician who exemplifies the Hippocratic Oath and who can surely serve as a model for young doctors to aspire to. He listens carefully to his patient's concerns and then shares his wealth of knowledge in an empathetic, sincere, and clear manner....thus inspiring confidence and trust in both patient and family members. Highly recommended.

As his patient, I know Dr. Benson to be a caring doctor who possesses cutting edge knowledge, skill, and the wisdom that comes from experience. By the same token, I have found that Dr. Benson is attuned to his patient's worry and fear, and he takes care to avoid arousing unnecessary anxiety, both in his choice of words and manner. His medical assistant Germaine and nurse Anna work together with him as a team. To date, I am cancer free and adhere to Dr. Benson's required checkups. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Benson to others as a very fine doctor, a dedicated doctor, and an equally fine human being.

A remarkable physician. He was able to deal with what other doctors misdiagnosed or couldnt handle. I owe my current well being to him entirely.

I was treated for prostate cancer. I know there are no guarentees as to outcome, but pre op I was told great statistics and was assured based on my exam that I should expect no complications. Post op I have the 2 complications most men fear. I am now told that "it isn't so bad." I don't believe that my complications have been added into his statistics that he tells others as they stopped information gathering after my 1st post op visit and I was handed off to someone else to see on subsequent visit (although billed in his name out of network).
