My dad was referred to have his hip evaluated. First thing Dr. Cooper said was, " I'm not sure why you are with me, I don't take care of hips". He proceeded to himhaw around the subject. He did a short evaluation and said it's not your hip. He had no answers and really sounded like he had no idea what he was talking about. He just kept shrugging his shoulders. We were referred by Dr. Kajawski, neurosurgery, because no one seems to know where the pain is coming from. Lehigh valley scheduling doesn't seem to know who does what or they are just filling up their spots to make more money which is the likely answer. My dad has been having pain in his lower back and been seen by multiple doctors in this network that cannot figure out the problem. Definitely losing my confidence in the health care system that is all about the bottom line. I'm a nurse and I see it every day first hand.

Doesn't really seem to listen, like he would rather be doing something else. I am glad I had such a negative experience, because now I know to stay away from him. Remember when you are meeting with a surgeon, you should be interviewing them. They should meet your expectations not you theirs.

He did a great job repairing my fractured tibia.

#1 Dr.Cooper does NOT do knee replacements!!! Shame on me!? Somewhere that was missed over 2 years of living bone on bone while be a patient of Dr.Cooper Injections -injections not lasting long 1st year ... then said could do arthroscopic surgery.... oh god please I can't take the pain . So he schedules this surgery to perform.. why he is my doctor I trust him. Recovery was a struggle!!! No relief & now seeking gel series injections... year 2 I'm depressed & gained slot of weight from lack of relief . Can't even make it through Sams club on a Saturday afternoon . Dr orders a final MRI -results yep your gonna need a TKR . Relief ... a hope ... well deer in the headlights!!!! He will hook me up with a surgeon ...WHAT.... he doesn't do them ?!??? Anyway great if you need a shot and early stages of discomfort!!! But when that arthoscopic surgery was being performed I should have been getting a TKR !!! Now a year wasted and a lot of new developed damage to my knee & surrounding… areas! You couldn't recover from arthroscopic when you were already bone on bone. Ughhhh with 2 years lost I am with a knew group and now recovering from a TKR . This dr stated you were sent to us for a reason and we will take care of you.... some Dr's don't understand the trust that we take in them with the badge showing their Dr status ....

In 2009 my knee was operated by another surgeon who did extensive repairs as I had done quite a bit of damage. Upon completion my knee would click as I walked. The surgeon said "nothing to worry about mine has done that all my live" Good for you mine never did. He tried the 5 shot rooster crop treatment and after 2 months still click click. I visited Dr. Cooper as he had operated on my son-in-law's knee with great success. In 2 minutes he diagnose my clicking as a "pail Handle". He would do a simple procedure in the operating room that Friday. I walked to my car and back to my office with no pain and no clicking on the same day. I saw the other Surgeon one night in a restaurant and he asked how I was doing ? When I told him he said"da I never thought of that" Since then 2017 I had rotator cuff surgery and the other knee worked on both successful surgeries by a person who not only cares but knows what he is talking about. Dismissed anything I said and made little eye contact. Only when my husband was with me, did he send me for an MRI (after surgery) because u kept telling him something want right. Turns out my knee looked worse after the repair then before???? Did he actually do anything? He didn't say anything....never went back and knee is still a mess

He did meniscus repair and 8 weeks later my knee was worse then before surgery. Did he do surgery? He kept blowing me off and trekking me I was fine. After insisting an Mri, he had to admit his failure. He still didn't and said I needed a knee replacement. No way he is touching me again. What am unprofessional man, no eye contact, doesn't care, removed.

I saw Dr. Cooper for a severe rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. He recommended surgery. Two weeks after surgery he had me begin PT which lasted almost 5 months. I never felt like he was rushing me out the door during my office visits. He answered every question in detail and is an overall nice person to work with. I went back to see Dr. Cooper about my left shoulder which was diagnosed as another rotator cuff tear. Since I had so much success with my right shoulder, I agreed to have Dr. Cooper repair my left shoulder too. Final prognosis was excellent. If you need a surgeon who cares for his patients, is excellent at what he does and is caring and friendly, than Dr. Cooper is your man.

I went to Dr. Cooper the day after I fell and dislocated my shoulder. He told me to keep it in sling for 3 weeks. I was concerned about 'frozen shoulder'. He said I could move it some. At 3 weeks he did not check range of motion but said I needed PT. I went to PT and they figured out I probably have nerve damage. Now 7 weeks out and really no doctor help, I finally got connected to a good shoulder doctor and got help to figure out what is really wrong and what to do about it. Please don't waste your time going to someone who does not care enough to help when you really need it. Because of lack of proper diagnosis at beginning, I had a longer road to healing.
