Dr. Mitchell Curry, MD

This is the absolute WORST doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting!!!! He does not listen to a word you say. He contradicts everything he says and I cannot even remember ONCE that he has even bothered doing a physical exam for our mother, which has resulted in missing a couple things that should have been found 1- being a bed sore that was not communicated to us and when we found it, was covered completely in feces under the bandage! Had he found the other missed things, we WOULD not have had to put our mothers life further at risk!! He disgusted my mother every single time he entered the room. He lies and blames his staff on the “miscommunication” when we personally see the communication take place on several occasions. He chooses to do pretty much what he wants and doesn’t care to answer questions. He makes changes without even communicating these changes with the medical power of attorney! He treats you as a burden and should not be in charge of ANYONE! We could not get… out of there fast enough. Literally everyone else at the hospital was wonderful. He was the only bad apple! But considering he has the “final say” that speaks volumes as to how dangerous he actually could be! AVOID AT ALL COST! If you have no choice but to deal with him in the care of your loved one, then I would be certain someone was with them at all times!

Rude and uninterested in patients' best interest. Avoid him if you can.

Dr Curry is a caring God loving man. Better you can NOT find.

I was having tachycardia, a high heart rate of 145-157 at rest due to my rare illness and could not eat for 6 days, could not sit up during this time, could not stand or walk, could not sleep, could not get up to shower brush my teeth or use the restroom, and wasn't able to talk at times, but Dr. Curry was not compassionate at all. All he cared about was that my insurance was not going to pay for anymore hospital stays because he failed to diagnose me properly and get the kind of care I needed. He literally had me beg for medicines to help me sleep, while having difficultly speaking and during a tachycardia episode, which he thought was merely a panic attack. My mother had to plead with him and the social worker at the hospital to extend my stay because I couldn't even walk out of the hospital as they tried to discharge me saying it was only a panic attack! He is incompetant, cruel, a sociopath, and ignorant. When the hospital called to do a survey of my stay with dr Currys care, I… told the person what had happened and they were supposed to have administration call me, but no one ever did. All Dr. CURRY WANTS IS RECOGNITION IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, BUT HIS ETHICAL AND BED SIDE MANNERS ARE DANGEROUSLY LACKING.
