Dr. Mitchell L. Earley

Dr. Earley is the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had!!!! When I was in the military I was bounced around between many primary care physicians on different bases and after I got out; I looked for a Doctor that would listen to MY concerns and involve ME in whatever treatment I needed. I found that in Dr. Earley. Not only is he an amazing physician, his staff are very responsive. I’ve never had a delayed response from his staff for any issue that I’ve had. If you are looking for the best primary care physician in Mount Pleasant; I highly recommend Dr. Earley.

Terrible experience. Saw this doctor once for a check-up and referral. He made an error in the referral paperwork. Mistakes happen. However, getting it fixed was a nightmare. His office staff is incompetent. Called multiple times trying to resolve the issue to no avail. I asked the office manager to call me back to discuss. No response. I had to reschedule the appointment because his staff couldn't figure out how to get a referral processed. After about two weeks of trying to work with his staff, completely frustrated, I sent a message through patient portal explaining it all -- again. Finally, it got fixed a few days later. It delayed my specialist appointment by about a month. About two weeks later the office manager called me and told me she was returning my call. She had no background and had done no research about why I had called in the first place. Completely clueless. At that point I knew I was going to find a new doctor. Also, after the first appointment, I got… my lab results back through the online portal. One of the items was outside the recommended range, but the doctor had added what looked like a canned response that said something to the effect of "good job, keep doing what you're doing." No comment about the odd result. After some internet research I figured out it was no big deal, but still, the doctor could have at least commented on it. It looked to me like he was just going through the motions. Life's too short for this kind of experience; find someone else that actually cares about you for your care.

I made an appointment online the day before. I received a couple of text reminders. I filled out new patient paperwork online as well. I showed up to the office on time. The front desk checked me in and had me fill out even more new patient work. 20 minutes later they told me I was supposed to arrive 30 minutes before my appointment time and they called a few times to remind me. I told them no where did I receive a call or a message. They looked and could not confirm someone called me to inform me of this. They told me I must have entered the wrong phone number. My confirmation had the correct number and I was receiving text confirmations. They then told me to wait because a nurse was going to come out. I waited for another 10 minutes all for them to tel me to go to an urgent care! And that it was my fault I did not arrive 30 minutes prior to my appointment even though I was never told and filled out new patient paperwork online. They said they canceled my appointment at 1:30 when it… was at 2. Why at 2 then did they have me fill out 20 minutes of paperwork? They told me I could reschedule. The waiting room smelt like an ash tray so no thank you I will trust a more competent office.... Absolutely rude and incompetent front desk.

Have absolute confidence in Dr early. Very honest! Doesn't just push drugs and push you out the door. He listens!

VERY NICE PERSON AND GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER. I DID CHANGE DOCTORS (ONLY) BECAUSE I NEEDED ONE CLOSER TO ME, OTHERWISE I WOULD STILL BE WITH MR EARLEY. I HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH HIM AND HE SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME WITH ME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG TO TO RESOLVE THE ILLNESS.. (KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB)..I MAY BE BACK IF THE OTHER DOC RETIRES...
