Too bad I can't give a NEGATIVE 5. Only thing I like less than incompetence is dishonesty. 2 months ago, after 6 month wait I took my x-rays of my spine Said he needed updated MRIs before the ESI procedures. MRIs done 1 month ago today. I reviewed the findings and the scans but apparently Mr. Engle did not. Staff told me this was a follow up visit, I said follow up to WHAT you haven't done anything yet. 2 MONTHS TO REVIEW X-RAYS, 1 MONTH TO REVIEW MRIs and they set appointment up WRONG! Since I am disabled my son had to take off work to take me and we BOTH wasted 2 HOURS! He a whole day of work. Their parting words after giving me a refund today was sorry for the misunderstanding. I said, "there was NO misunderstanding". Just deceit.

The office staff is very unprofessional. On the day of my appointment, the office staff was talking and laughing loudly and music was playing loudly in the exam room area. People were waiting and the front desk because most of the time, there was no one at the desk. When the front desk was covered, it was sporadic, i,e, someone would sit behind the desk and then get up every 5 minutes. This was noticed and commented by several other patients. People were taken out of line for their appointments. There even was a verbal altercation between two patients for which several staff members came out to the waiting room to prevent a fight, because tempers flared as one patient was taken before the other patient who had been waiting much longer. I waited at least 1 hour for the insurance coverage to be verified before even seeing the doctor. I guess, the staff was too busy conversing with each other. Even then, the staff charged a deductible even though there was no deductible and… were to so. After telling the doctor, he advised me to go the the front desk and talk to them. I gave them a toll free number for them to call to verify coverage. I even asked to be present during the call, but was told it wasn't necessary. When they did, which took another 20 minutes, I was correct, there was no deductible. By all indications they just charged a deductible without even checking. Again, very unprofessional behavior. Perhaps it would behoove the staff, and in the best interest of the patients, for the staff to undergo training on how to properly manage a doctor's office and what the appropriate decorum is for a doctor's office.

Dr. Engle was easy talk to and I did not find him to be condescending as some physicians are. :>) I do have a major complaint concerning the staff making appointments for procedures. They suppose to call me to inform of the procedure time and hospital. I called the office several times to get this information. Still. I get NO CALL or response. I finally had to wait for my next appointment with doctor to get the information that I needed... Dr. Engle got the time & date for the injections. And they are past

Works hard for his patients. He believed in me when no one else did. He is highly intelligent, caring, and has a wonderful "bedside manner". I would give him 10 stars if possible!!!
