I walked out on him , He upset me to the point of crying ,He's rude, and no compassion . He don't listen to you he talks over you.

He's gruff but honest. You may not like what he says but he cares about his patients. You just have to tell him to keep still so you can tell him what's wrong. Write down your problems and he'll address them

Would not order a blood test that would have been diagnostic. Said it was a waste of money. Did not even read the history he had asked for. Recommended surgery that other doctors said was contraindicated. This guy has a big ego.

I was treated for rheumatoid arthritis by another rheumatologist for forty years. Over the years I had a series of illnesses including sinus surgery, asthma, and it all came to a head in 2013 when I lost 40 lbs in 8 wks. and after multiple trips to the ER finally had my gall bladder removed. The biopsy showed it full of eosinophil cells. I changed rheumatologists to Dr. Feinman. He made a diagnosis and sent me to MUSC for confirmation. I have a rare blood disease called Churg Strauss syndrome. I was treated with 6 months of chemo. High doses of prednisone and Imuran, an immune surpressor. Dr. Feinman has been treating me ever since.

I've been seeing Dr. Feinman for over 10 years now, and I was shocked to see how low his average rating was! I learned early on that making afternoon appointments is best because you get seen sooner. For some reason in the mornings, it seems like you wait a lot longer to be seen. Dr. Feinman has been superb though! I've had to travel which required creative thinking on how to arrange my medicines and treatment, and he has also been very helpful in making sure everything was covered. Plus, he's just a really nice guy. Would 100% recommend him!

Had a loved one treated badly. She is full figured and never weighed 120 to 130 pounds but was told to lose 50 pounds. 150 to 160 is a normal weight for her, and she packed on 20 pounds due to knee issues and bursitis in 4 extremities over the last year. Two orthopedists told her that it was caused by an underlying rheumatoid condition and to have it ruled out. He refused to do this. He would only do a standard panel which had come up negative a few months ago. Did he expect different results?? No. He just did not want to rule out conditions that could be causing her pain that are not included on the standard panel. What a pointless visit. What an unpleasant man. He further insulted her with suggesting she just take Aleve for her pain. OTC medication, really!! She has been on several prescription medications that he did not bother to note....? Not very thorough. He also ignored all prior tests performed by previous rheumatologists. Her history was not important??? Strange Dude.

Until I began IV treatments, wait time in lobby was ALWAYS an hour or longer, then another half hour or more in the exam room prior to seeing the Dr. His bedside manner was only good when my husband was with me, otherwise he rushed his time with me, he was abrupt and rude, didn't listen or show compassion to my issues,and his only solution is to tell me to lose weight. Well, I have lost 20+ lbs. and I am worse a year later rather than better. He told me the results of a blood test were not good one week and the very next week told me the same test showed good results. It was like he didn't even remember that he had spoken with my husband and I the previous week. I have been seeing him for over a year now, and had seen him for 5 1/2 months back in 2006. I didn't like him back then either. I currently have no choice really as he is who our insurance refers us to. I am going to our family Doc. tomorrow and hopefully getting a new referral for someone better and closer to home. Driving an… hour each way for this is for the birds!

Diagnosed in 2005 in Missouri and not currently taking any medication. He said that it doesn't matter what the tests show, he generally looks at his patients to see how they are doing. He said that I look healthy and may not have Lupus, because 90% of his patients take meds and I don't take them, so I either have a slight case of Lupus or don't have it at all. So, I'm sorry for taking care of myself and not letting Lupus beat me down.

Great Doctor! I have gone to him for about 10 years and have alot of respect for him. I would definitely recommend seeing him..

The best Rheumatologist in the Country! Very professional, very thoughrough, and very knowledgeble in his field. He is great with patients, has compassion, provides quality care, and is in the Profession for all the right reasons. (You can tell by watching him in action!)My husband is in the military, so we move frequently, therefore I know what I am talking about. He saved my life....gave it back to me.
