Thank you very much Dr. Kaplan, medical assistant (Courtney) and office staff, they were very nice. Doctor took time to listen my health issues and explained conditions and treatment. Highly satisfied patient.

He explained what he was going to do set up appointment for a month later. Gave me medicine till then which has really helped

Dr. Kaplan is very congenital and a pleasure to talk to. He did a colonosocopy on me. He was very quick about the time it took to schedule the procedure and how long it took to do the proceedure

The time for waiting on an appointment was over an hour in the exam room. The time waiting for the procedure at the hospital was over 4 hours. Now add the fact that the procedure was coded incorrectly per my insurance company, and she refused to correct it so my insurance would cover the procedure. You can do much better than this!

Dr Kaplan misread a CT scan that he'd ordered for me. He told me I was having a Crohn's flare, and MISSED the fact that I needed emergency surgery for a bowel blockage! Instead, he referred me to Cleveland Clinic. I was immediately admitted and had a bowel resection the next morning to remove 21 centimeters of intestine at my ileum. When I came home to Louisville post-surgery, I discovered a certified letter from Kaplan in which he fired me as a patient. So, I came home from major intestinal surgery & had no gastroenterologist to follow up with! Within that first few days I developed MRSA at the surgical site & was admitted into the hospital for 9 days, & left with a wound vac attached. Sure would've been nice to have had a doctor who cared about his patient enough to at least see how the surgery he did not forewarn me I needed ended up going.

Dr. Kaplan is professional, caring, and a great team leader in office to his very involved patient-oriented staff. Although I'm not well yet, Dr. Kaplan is intelligently motivated to reach that goal for me. Thank God.

Dr Klaplan changed my life with a 30 minute surgery. I lived with pain for years after gallbladder surgery. He is competent, confident and kind.

Immediately put me at ease. Great bedside manner. Very professional.
