He works very fast and will try to fit you in unscheduled. BUT his office staff is not very kind, he takes no insurance, wouldn't even help me file the claim, and charges twice as much as every other endo in NYC. Because he worked so fast, he had to go in a second time. I would find someone else. It's all about the money with him.

Dr. Kellert is fabulous in every way. Expensive, but perfect.

Dr. Kellert completed a very professional root canal with a minimum of discomfort. The procedure is not simple and took two visits, but it was accomplished without pain.

I had a rare complication from a root canal. His receptionist said the next appointment was in 12 days. I made a stink, and said it was absolutely unacceptable, and I wanted to see another doctor in the practice. It would have taken him one hour. He would not fit me in because "If I do that for you, then I have to do that for all my patients. That is not how I run my practice".So, a complication from a routine procedure that rarely happens, and causes a patient discomfort, is not a priority. He even said that "I wouldn't be charged for it", Bad medicine, and bad business practices. You take care of a patient, especially if a complication causes a patient discomfort, and money is not even mentioned.Despicable.
