Dr. Mitchell Derek Kuhl

I need people seeing this doctor to read this very closely. I broke my Humerus in a fall which left the bone at a 30 Degree angle. The recommendation was to put a compression splint on my arm, but they was no splint manufactured that would fit. Dr Kuhl left me in a hard cast (2" from the fracture site) and sling and would delayed operating on me for 4 months, the arm was still 30degrees with no fusion contact to heal. I got a second opinion and the other doctor was shocked at the neglect on Dr Kuhl's part. As a result of this man not wanting to operate on me or refer me to another Doctor, my elbow and should were locked up and in severe pain. Over 1 year of PT to get back some function in my arm . The operation should have been done with in the same week.

I am very pleased with the care that I received from Dr Kuhl and the entire Orthopedics team. After trying conservative treatment for a humerus fracture, I was diagnosed with a non- healing fracture. I did have surgery with Dr Kuhl and am now able to progress to therapy. Throughout this entire process, Dr Kuhl was straightforward about treatment options and I felt assured that I had the best care.

After my mom had a nursing home fall with a tibial fracture, Dr. Kuhl did an excellent job at examining and patiently explaining the situation with our options for treatment. He is kind, caring and comprehensive in his approach to patient care.

I had a nasty fall one year ago and had extensive damage to both of my feet. Dr. Kuhl took me as a patient. I was very grateful to have him as I had heard many good things about his work. The healing process brought many obstacles. I always felt that Dr. Kuhl had my best interest at hand. He always gave thorough explanation of my options and took the time to understand my concerns.

I sustained a severe ankle injury in a fall. This required 2 different hospitalizations with a total of 3 surgeries. Dr. Kuhl has treated me with nothing but respect and professionalism. He has taken time to answer all my crazy questions and doesn’t make me feel foolish for asking them. He has always explained things in a way that both my husband and I can understand and process. He told me from the beginning that this would be a long process so I have not had any false expectations. Hard to accept, but I appreciate his honesty and realistic approach for long term thinking. I am so appreciative of his knowledge and skills.

The best visit I hv ever had. This Dr listened to me and his work is "OUTSTANDING ". I am thankful to to the powers that be we brought together for my injuries. God Bless you Dr. Kuhl

I have no complaints about my consultation with Dr. Kuhl. His suggestion that I try physical therapy is sound. I may not ever need surgery.

He did a thorough checkup and gave me good direction. He let me know what to expect now that my visits are complete.

Excellent medical support for my injured knee. All is well that ends well.

Horrible judgement by this doctor. My mother died after her 2nd wrist surgery. The first surgery was needed, the 2nd surgery was not. He did not put the patient's best interest first.
