Dr. Mitchell Craig Preston, MD

I went to do a yearly physical examination with him. I spend most of my time at home this year and worry about my overall health. I ask whether I can get a comprehensive blood test for things such as vitamin D, red/white cell count, TSH, which I regularly do every year. I was told (quote the doctor): "You don't currently have any disease, if I order a test, then they (the insurance company) would ask me to pay for it" "Knowing those results would not influence your overall health." At the same time, my girlfriend who went there together with me get a much more comprehensive lab tests. We are both overall healthy.

this dr. is a bully. does not like to be disagreed with. my grandmother has been going to him for the past year. when she had an allergic reaction to a medication and did not take it, he became upset and told her that the medication would not have caused an allergic reaction even though she had a rash that started after the medication. dr. is worthless. dont waste your time going to him.

Preston filled in for my doc of many years while he was out. When I went to my appt Preston changed everything my doc and I had worked over a year to find the right plan for my diagnosis. Not only did he change it all, but his change was a rx I'd already taken and told him didnt work... AND THE KICKER... the rx he gave me was $565 PER MONTH! Dont waste your time with him. He's useless!

Dr. Preston is a very by the book dr. He does not like to be disagreed with. If he recommends a flu shot, he does not want to be told no. He will keep talking until he expects you to agree. Disagree with him at two appointments and he will remove you as a patient at his Omni Medical. Omni Medical will not ask for both sides of the story even after being a patient there since the day they opened the doors without ever having a late payment. Been a patient of three previous doctors that have left the practice with no problems. Want to make sure no one else is bullied and made to look bad by this doctor!
