On first visit, the PA numbed the area and excised a growth, then stitched it and made an appointment for a continuation. Three days later the medical assistant called and said they made a mistake and couldn't see me for another 15 days. I reminded her that I had stitches. She called back and asked if I couldn't go to my primary care doctor to get the stitches removed. I said I could not and asked why they couldn't correct their mistake and take me earlier. She said the PA would have to call me back. PA left a message and I called the receptionist and asked for an appointment in 5 days and gave three possible dates. The office manager called, left a message saying that the PA told me that they wouldn't be available on the original date--as if I requested the continuation appointment. The name of the PA was not the PA that had done the work on the first appt. I called the office manager and tried to explain this but she kept talking over me with the same statement that they… were concerned with my health, but her phone mannerisms belied her words. She offered me an appt on the off day of the three days I had requested. I tried several times to end the conversation but the office manager kept on repeating the same words over and over. I finally just said good by and hung up. Some days later the PA who had done the work called to tell me the growth was cancerous and they were going to refer me to UVM. That same week I received a certified letter in the mail saying in effect that they had terminated their service with me. It was formed stamped by the doctor; I wonder if he ever knew. As if I would ever go back there anyways. I later noticed that they have received all "FAIR" ratings on their service some commenting on the rude office personnel. Touche!
