Dr. Mitchell Jon Silver, DO

Dr. Silver is an excellent clinician. I have worked in the medical field for 47 years and am very happy to call Dr. Silver my cardiologist. He is warm, kind, extremely knowledgeable, explains everything thoroughly. My husband was referred to him for the incidental finding of blocked carotid following an automobile accident. We were so impressed with Dr. Silver and his care of my husband. When I was asked too see a cardiologist for a heart valvular problem, there was no doubt in our minds who we would choose. Both my husband and I are grateful to have him as our physician and would not hesitate to refer him to anyone.

Staff and office was great. Bedside manner and diagnosis also great. Performed heart cath with no issues. Was having issues with meds and called to schedule appointment to perhaps change meds. Soonest available appt was 6 months out. Totally unacceptable. Found myself another doctor.

Dr Silver has a great office and he is very nice. He listens and cares. I worry and he gives me support and confidence. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Silver seems knowledgeable but I don't feel he cared like I felt he should. His followup procedures are lacking. He has failed to diagnose a problem and then when another doctor found it, he wrote a letter to that doctor badmouthing us because we waited so long to return to see him although we were told by him he didn't want to see us for a year after we complained about the problem. We didn't let it go to long, he did. He always make us feel like he wonders why we are there to see him when we go and treats us like a problem when we don't go?
