Dr Moahad S. Dar, MD

Dr. Moahad Dar specializes in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, helping patients manage complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. He earned his medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute, followed by fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Dar is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and speaks English.

Dr. Dar practices at ECU Health Medical Center and sees patients at the Brody Outpatient Center - Endocrinology in Greenville, North Carolina. He treats patients with Type 2 diabetes, including children and teens with this condition, and manages hyperglycemic emergencies. His expertise includes performing specialized diagnostic procedures such as thyroid and parathyroid ultrasounds, cranial ultrasounds, and bone density tests to help diagnose and monitor various endocrine conditions.
