I needed to get my son away from Island Psychology because they do not take ANY insurance and I was being charged almost $90 for a 5 minute visit when I never had a co-pay for the 7 years my son has been a patient. His original Dr. sold her business to Dr. Solomon, who runs/owns all the Island Psychology offices and now instead of a once caring environment became a money maker. So......... I reached out to Dr. Haggag's office and I cannot tell you how wonderful the woman (Michelle) who answered the was to me. She was so understanding, listened to everything I had to say, and in the end she said she will get my son in for his medication maintenance. I am truly grateful to have picked up the phone today.

They made a difference..!

My 5 year old son and I arrived at 7pm for his appointment with the therapist. Upon checking in I was told then they only accept cash. My husband had to leave to find an amt. While waiting for him to return I was called back up to the front desk only to be told they were not waving the $50.00 no show fee from February. I tried to explain that I did call and spoke to the office manager and explained we could not make that appointment. It was our first cancellation and I did call. They didn't want to hear anything and excepted payment right then and there. We began to argue back and forth. The office manager then refused my son the right to see the therapist and told us to leave. If you could avoid this office you should. The front desk including the office manager was nasty, unprofessional and so unreasonable! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

I am applauded by the conduct of Carolyn E in Dr Yousef office, she claims that she the office manager. I never have been spoken to in what is supposed to be professional office in ( mental health no less) . This women is on a power trip and thinks that she can come off how ever she feels. She knows nothing about the patients that come through that office nor does she know anything about their family or back story. She has allot of nerve voicing her personal opinion, not sure who or what she thinks she is. After hanging up the phone I had to wonder if she is one of Dr Yousef patients. Very rude and disrespectful. She diseveres to lose her job.

GREAT STAFF AND CARING DOCTOR

I am very shocked to read the reviews on this website in reference to this office. I never feel the need to write a review about a doctor or his office whether or not thru are good or bad. After reading these reviews and actually speaking to thr staff I had to write this. I am not able to review the doctor as I have not been to my appointment yet. As far as the staff is concerned I have a great deal to say about them. I spoke to the office staff on two separate occasions with two different people. My first phone call I spoke with the office manager Carolyn. Although she was not able to make an appointment for me to be seen because the doctor is not seeing new patients yet she was doing her best to try and get me in. She took at least 20 if not 30 minutes out of her day to carefully listen to all my problems and then try and find a solution for me even thougj she never met me and I was not even a patient of theirs yet. She tried very hard to find any way possible to get me into the… office to be seen in order to get me relief. Unfortunately she wasn't able to do so and recommended I call back in a couple of weeks and try again. Today I called again to see if they had any openings for my husband and I. I was greeted by a very pleasant Woman by the name of Michelle. Once again they did not have any openings for new patients. Yet again one of the office staff spent their time trying to help me without knowing me whataoever. I didnt even mention my previous conversation. Michelle stayed on the phone with me for almost an an hour listening to my story and my troubles, hearing me out completely, giving me suggestions for health insurance, and once again trying her best to get me in to be seen by the doctor even though it's completely out of her hands. I read these extremely negative and harsh reviews about the office staff and I've come to realize that it could only be from very sad and jaded people who did not get the drugs that they wanted to abuse. This can be the only logical explanation because these two women are so amazing, caring and comforting to a complete stranger. Im sure as a patient youd get even better treatment. I cannot imagine them anything that has been written about them could be true only comments written out of anger and spite. I highly suggest calling yourself and seeing the truth. Thank you so match Carolyn and Michelle for taking care of me even though you really didn't have to as I wasn't, and I'm still not yet a patient. But with this kind of office staff I can only imagine the doctor would have to be even better and an amazing guy. Hopefully soon enough I will be able to write a review about the doctor himself.

Dr Yosef is a wonderful doctor and wonderful man, who really cares about his patients and really wants to help them. Dr Yosef makes you feel like he is there to support your every need and makes sure to tell you every time you are there " we are here for you always" now that is a great doctor, when you feel like you can go to them anytime. I would reccomend Dr. Yosef to anyone! He really is that great!
