Dr. Mohamad Talat Tawaklna, MD

Dr. Tawaklna tried to talk me into going against my mother's wishes of not having a DNR. After several attempts by him to change my mind, he became upset and walked off. When my mother coded, one nurse yelled to get Dr. Tawaklna and the other nurse stated he refuses to work the code. The nurse had to page the ER doctor. This is unprofessional conduct! Dr. Tawaklna took an oath to do no harm. He is not God and has no business demanding families go against what the patient desires. He has no business practicing medicine anymore!

Definitely a courteous Dr. But very old school .easy to make an appointment . I was late for the first appointment ( I called them to let them know I was running late ) and I had to wait 1.30 hour. The staff is not helpful , rude and clueless. The office does not accept cards ( I wasn't told about it While making the appointment ) and yet , the office does not have change! Essentially I'm expected to have checks with me. Ridiculous !
